If I tape a huge gash on the driver's seat of my car, will it melt in 100 degree weather?

No the Nashua 398 All Weather Tape will not melt. Operating Temps are: 40 - 200 degrees F

Is this tape waterproof for outdoors?

Thank you for your question. Nashua 398 is not 100% waterproof and should not be submerged, however, with a PE coated-cloth backing and rubber based adhesive, it does have a high level of moisture resistance for use outdoors. Best of luck with your project.

Does this tape leave a residue on item when it is removed?

I only had it on for two weeks on concrete, no residue
