Skin coloured liquid latex was fantastic for creating look. And the blood was fantastic. The special effects sculpting wax didn't work as well as other brands. But was worth the price for the rest of the kit

It was my first time using liquid latex and modeling wax, so I wasn’t even sure which product would be best and what brand to choose. This was a great choice! To apply wax proved to be little fiddly, but the end effect was very satisfying. Little tip: put a tiny amount of butter or cooking oil on your hand while rolling and softening wax in your hands -it is quite sticky. The colour cruise wheel is great - brilliant choice of shades and very good quality, blends very well and stays on the skin for a long time. Two types of fake blood are fantastic for finishing touches on the nakup, especially the coagulated blood gel works fantastic inside your wax scars. Would definitely buy it again. Would happily recommend.

My daughter bought this to try out SFX makeup and I was throughly impressed with the quality and amount you get in the kit, not to mention how easy it was for her to create something very realistic. Great value for money.

Great starter kit for our 12 year old to see if they enjoy sfx makeup

I got this for a zombie themed murder mystery me and my mum went to at Halloween. The murder mystery itself wasn't great, and ended up being more vampire themed, but the latex makeup was a hit. I put the special effects makeup on my mum and the first couple of fake wounds weren't too great as the instructions are not particularly detailed. You need to put a layer of glue down first, let it dry and then put on the wax. The wax itself is much easier to mould when it is slightly warmed up. I used body heat to make it more malleable. Over the wax put another layer of glue and leave that to dry. Once dry you can add the fake blood. The sponges are really good to use to help spread it better. I might have been a bit of an idiot, but the first couple of attempts I didn't realise you needed to wait for the glue to dry and I was fighting to get that wax to stay on the skin. Overall really fun to play and experiment with.

Ich habe mir einen Horror-Mund mit Hilfe von Latex und Watte geschminkt und eine Narbe auf der Stirn. Das Latex war erwartungsgemäß sehr geruchsintensiv, weshalb das Fenster beim Schminken auf blieb), es hat bombenfest gehalten und das Ergebnis hat die Kinder der Nachbarschaft echt geschockt. Das Kunstblut kommt in flüssigem und cremigem Zustand, perfekt um Wunden zu bemalen oder Spritzer zu verteilen. Die Schminke und das Schwämmchen habe ich nicht benutzt, hatte noch ausreichend Make-Up aus Vorjahren.

The latex and wax worked well and held up better than expected. Takes a little practice to get it looking really good, but even the first attempts turned out decent. Definitely a bit messy, but that’s kind of the point. Great for Halloween or just experimenting—ended up having more fun with it than I expected. Good value, would buy again.

In der Packung ist alles drin, was man braucht, um gruselig-realistische Dekorationen auf der Haut zu basteln. 2 Sorten flüssiges Latex und 2 Sorten Blut (eines wie Sirup und eins leider sehr dünnflüssig) sowie eine Schminkpalette und Modellierwachs (das muss man lange warm und weich kneten, damit die Übergänge zur echten Haut glatt verlaufen). Der Spatel aus Metall ist super. Wattestäbchen, Schwämme usw. sind auch dabei) Ich habe noch mit künstlichem Wundschorf ergänzt und eine abgesägte Schraube in das Wachs gearbeitet (s.Video) Ganz wichtig: Haut vorher eincremen, erst eine Schicht flüssiges Latex und dann entweder mit Wachs und weiter Latex oder nur mit mehreren Latexschichten arbeiten.
