Amazing locks, have had them for two almost three years, absolutely love how simple it is to use but keeps the kids and adults out. Easy to install and easily able to open quickly or close but has lasted a long time well being very functional.

Okay, there is a very short, very rude person in my house who wanders into wherever they want with no regard for anyone's privacy. (Yes the person is two.)So we installed these on the bedroom doors in our home and it has completely solved the rude person problem.They're not like the hotel room ones that usually allow you to open the door a couple inches. The door does NOT open when this lock is properly installed and deployed.I'm even thinking about putting some on the door leading down to the basement so that no person and no THING in the basement can open the door into the hallway and come eat us all in our sleep.Conveniently, this comes in a four pack, so I don't even need to purchase a new one for that!If you have two bedrooms and a front door and a back door you could have them on all of those, which would be great!Of course they're "privacy" locks, but they would do fantastic backing up your regular door locks. Only operable from the inside, of course.I suggest installing them at a different height than your light switches, by the way. A little higher or a little lower. And not at "handle" height, of course.These only work from the "swings in" side of a door, by the way. You COULD install one on the other side, but people would think you're strange.Great purchase. Solid. No ragrets.

These are awesome door locks, they feel very secure. We initially bought these as child safety locks because our kid figured out how to work regular child safety locks and started going out the front door. Very easy to install, and stylish. very functional and secure.

The installation instructions could be a bit clearer. Especially the part on how to actually open and release the lock... it's not described well and took me two minutes to figure out. Installation itself was pretty easy. One of the nine screws was bent though! Quality control should have caught that. I still managed to use it, but it should never have been sent.The item looks and feels solid. I deduct one star because of the bent screw.

These are perfect to put on any door. We have them on our front door, back door & the door going into the garage. Very easy to use. The lock is very secure. Made of all steel. You can install them the height you prefer. These ease my mind when our Grands come over to stay. They can’t get access to the pool area.Definitely recommend!!

So easy to install! I feel so much safer with these on and going to bed rest assured there is a layer of security to my house. It looked complicated to use and I was honestly overwhelmed. But once you get the hang of it, it's pretty satisfying. I was also worried that if you slam the door hard enough, it might latch by accident because we had the same type of locks at the hotel I worked at and we had so many guest getting locked out of their rooms because of this reason. But I have not faced this problem at all, the latch stays in place no matter how hard we slam and we had construction at our house recently. Workers walking in and out with our automatic slamming door and it never latched itself once.
