Old School Vintage Bookshelf Board Game.This is not the Target knock off, this is the real deal.I got started on the very old 3M bookshelf game set way back in the day.It contained my all time favorite game : Twixt.Those games were in a book shape to store on the shelf but with a "leather-ish" material on the outside.Since then, Milton Bradley created a new line back in the late 1990's.They are squared off and in wooden boxes. If you have never played Sorry, it is a great family game for most all ages. I have children from elementary school to married (& a grandchild!). I have found this game to be fantastic, so much that our old set wore out and we had to get a new one. It seems like from a very young age kids can play this on an equal footing with their older siblings, parents, and grandparents. There is great strategy, turn taking, counting, and endless hours of fun for all.I chose the bookshelf version this time as I don't like figuring out to do with odd shaped game boxes and love board games. The bookshelf is great. I can keep it in a visible place on a shelf without it looking offensive. The kids are more apt to see it and remember that we have it, so it gets more use.Sorry needs to be a regular part of every family's game night options. (My parents have found it very useful when babysitting the younger kids, too - having spent hours with their board.)

It's the board game. Way over priced for the game itself, but I wanted the vintage box to match my other games. Definitely a want and not a need.

Got this for my hubby. He used to play this with his grandma during summer vacations. Good memories! Board games seem to be a thing of the past so we are trying to build new traditions with our grand babies.

I have a good collection of these "vintage" games I got at Target, but I missed the Sorry! set for some reason, even though it is one of my favorite childhood games. I was ecstatic when I saw it for sale at a reasonable price on Amazon. We've been playing a few game a night since it came, and it's a great edition. Solid wood pieces, and durable-feeling cards.

Looks sharp and will not be destroyed as quickly as the cardboard boxes. Easy game for young children. Fast delivery.
