DJI OM5 is definitely one of the best smartphone gimbal in the market right now. This is mainly due to their application support. I would only recommend it for lightweight to moderately weight smartphones. Heavier smartphones like iPhone 12 pro max or 13 pro max would require a hybrid gimbal like zhiyun smooth 5, or the amazing movi freefly cinema robot.Selfie style extension on this gimbal is a welcome addition to give a different perspective while shooting videos. It is not the most stable gimbal in the market (the two I mentioned above are surely more stable), but combined with smartphone stock app and stabilisation plus ninja walk can get you super stable cinematic shots. For additional stability you can use 60fps and stop down to 24fps to smooth out the footage.Overall a super compact portable gimbal. Good value for the money.

Good quality gimbal that does all the job efficiently. Takes some time to get used to all the features and operations. Once done, it is a breeze. The extension rod is very useful.

Edit:Turns out, the DJI Mimo app is needed only for initial setup. I can now use Bluetooth to connect the gimbal to my phone's native camera app, producing significantly better pictures. Review is upgraded to 5 stars, since reliance on third party app is no longer a concern.Original review below:So the DJI Mimo app which is needed in order to connect to this gimbal, isn't available on the Google Play Store. I found an apk for download, but am frankly not thrilled with the idea. The app itself is pretty outdated, and doesn't leverage my phone's imaging capabilities.Anyone out there who is able to connect this gimbal to the native camera app, please let me know. I'll take this for a spin next weekend, and really hope I don't need to fallback to a 200 rupee selfie stick..

Nice product

No authorised service station in india.. i have sent to the Benguluru service station who has affiliation with DJI. They kept it for 1 month and returned it with the reason part not available. No invoice given on my paid service cost by them. Don’t buy DJI Products if you are in india.

I want to sell for 5k. Not used much

Product looks good. It requires manual horizontal calibration to work with Iphone14 Pro. The pouch comes with the Gimbal was torn. So not happy with that
