This is a great head torch, bright, lasts a fair amount of time, slim and unobtrusive and is quickly adjustable for all head sizes. But....I wear specs, and the downside of having a wide, bright light sitting on that slim band across my forehead is that the light reflects off my spectacle frame and shines back into my eyes. Not ideal!So, great for those of you lucky enough not to wear glasses, but a flawed design for those of us that do. Shame really, but I have to drop a star for that.

This is another great piece of cheap lightweight kit, modern COB style LEDs are the pup's nuts. This also has an older style single LED attached, which will be better for when you're using it in company (the main light-band is utterly blinding for anyone unlucky enough to be dazzled by it). Can't comment on the longevity of the rechargeable battery, I haven't used it in extremis, but it being rechargeable is a Good Thing. Haven't quite worked out the motion sensor action yet, but will update this review if I ever do find a need to try it. Worth mentioning that this another one of those pieces of kit you will find multiple versions / brands of - though they are all essentially identical. I chose this particular option as it was the cheapest going at the time of buying. I previously acquired an identical version that was nearly £4 more expensive, but came with a rigid plastic shell case, and bought this uncased one on account of being so impressed by it. Definitely the most impressive budget headtorch I have purchased - thoroughly recommended.

First thing to say is dont look right at it when you first turn it on, it's like looking into the sun. I got for night fishing and it works perfectly, I imagine that I look at right plonker wearing it, but it's light bright and the battery last long enough for my needs, my wife's boss has even bought one to use in data cabinets to keep both hands free

This is a very bright rechargeable head torch.Comfortable to wear and the addition of the sensor that allows you to turn the light on and off with a non contact hand gesture is great.You can turn the light on and off using a button if you wish but the sensor is useful if you have something in both hands. Just move your hand past the sensor and it will switch on or off the light.

These are brilliant in performance and price.

Good product in theory. But the build quality lets it down. On opening the charging socket isn’t water proof as the cover doesn’t fit properly and just falls out. And the LED band seems to be held on with double sided tape which had already started to peel before it was even taken out of the box.That said, if you get a good one, both lights are very bright. It charges quickly. The buttons are responsive but the sensor function is temperamental and a bit of a gimmick.I’ve returned mine and won’t buy another.
