Keeps oil warm.
So far appears to be a good quality. Keeps contents warmer than plastic. Hopefully it will prove to be sturdier than the plastic bottles.

Poor quality
I ordered this the same time that I ordered the oil warmer so that I could have two canisters. Out of the box, it was irritating that they had a sticker placed right on the bottle. Also, not at all metal. It’s plastic made to look like stainless steel.
