Great stuff
Great product. My hair feels smooth, silky, and well-polished after use just like after a professional salon blow-dry. It leaves a clean, lightweight finish without weighing the hair down, and the results last. Exceptional quality for such an affordable price.

Love it!!!!
I love this product! It makes blowouts so quick and easy, giving my hair noticeable volume. Perfect for fast, polished results at home—highly recommend! I bought this to do my hair for my graduation ceremony and dinner, and it made my hair look great and photo-ready.

Love this
I’ve always had baby fine hair and this works great. Very easy to use.

Might be more suitable for longer hair.
I'm sure this is a good product but my hair was too short to use it. Thank you.

I’ve Tried All 3, Here are my thoughts…
I tried the One Step, the Round Brush, and the Plus - all from Revlon - here are my thoughts. — these photos are all of my hair at different times using the different revlon tools and a before photo so you can see the damage I had - I ended up doing a big chop before trying the Plus because of the damage on the ends —- BOTTOM LINE: I am keeping this The Revlon PLUS out of all 3 options — HERE’S WHY: The Revlon Plus is the BEST out of the 3 IMO. The Plus is an upgrade from the one step in 3 major ways - The brush head is smaller, The brush head detaches so in the future if they ever made a similar brush head in a round brush, that would be a game changer: even tho this new brush head is great, and third - they added a medium heat setting - which I love because I can blow dry my hair without risking as much damage. - The revlon round brush was great, but it got WAY too hot on its base, so I am keeping the PLUS— but if Revlon ever makes a ROUND version with this type of brush head that has the extra bristles I would be so excited and they also need to start selling the ATTACHMENTS separately. I watched some videos with girls similar to my hair type using the Dyson and their roots were still crimped - I NEVER have this issue with any of the Revlons. I know you’re risking heat damage but if you use this, use the lowest heat setting that still smoothes your hair and STOP as soon as your hair starts to feel hot or preferably BEFORE it feels hot, and you’ll be fine. 10/10 I would recommend this product and if you’re using the Revlon One Step I think it is worth upgrading to this - I won’t be using my One Step anymore.

All you need
I love the Revlon styling brush. I’ve been using one for probably four years. I love that. My hair seems smoother and that it cuts down my drying time. That I don’t have to use any other ones or flat irons. This product does it all. I love it so much that every time I take it to Europe it blows on their electrical outlets. Doesn’t matter that I have an adapter, it still blows. So inevitably, I always have to buy another one. Last trip to Europe I had to get a blow dryer and a round brush and I had the hardest time. I couldn’t remember how to coordinate myself to style my hair. This is my 2nd styling brush this year. Also gave it as a Xmas gift. I really love this product. Thanks for making me look great.

Works perfectly!
Works perfectly! It's very practical and easy to use. It's large, which is perfect for me because it doesn't hurt my hands when brushing. It has a hot and cold air option, dries the hair very well. I have quite a lot of hair, but if I divide it into sections, my hair is ready in 30 minutes or less. The hair that gets stuck in the brush is easy to clean, and if you take it with you when you travel, it's convenient that you can take it apart into two parts to carry it.

UPDATE - BROKE IN 14 MONTHS!
UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER (8/30/25): I've owned this since June of '24, so a year and 2 months. I use it twice a week for about 20-30 minutes each time. I treat it very gently, meaning I never lay down when it is on, never bang it on anything, never put it away hot, always keep it turned off and laid on a silicone, heat-proof pad between passes through my hair, never get it wet, never tightly bend or wrap the cord, never abuse it in any way. Today, while styling my hair, it started to make a loud, metallic, clanking noise. I immediately turned it off and shook it gently to see if it seemed like something was loose. I could hear something rattling. I let it cool down, then tried again. The noise was louder and sounded dangerous, so I turned it off and unplugged it. When it was cool, I removed the brush to see if the rattle was in the brush section or the motor section. It was in the motor section. So, I now have to throw it in the trash just a little over a year after buying it, since I'm sure whatever is rattling around makes it unsafe to use. Shame on Revlon for making a cheap and dangerous product. I have grown to like this tool, but will be replacing it with a different brand. UPDATE 7/8/24: I've had it a month now. As mentioned in the CONS in my first review, I am still not able to get the amount of curve I want at the ends of my hair (my thin, fine hair is about 2 inches below my shoulders). I do like the smoothness the brush creates, but the ends are a real problem for me. Without a little curve there, my hair looks unfinished. I'll keep trying and if I figure it out, I'll update, but it is disappointing right now. PROS: I've just used the Revlon One Step Volumizer PLUS 2.0 twice. I have truly never used any other home drying/styling product that created such shine and smoothness! I have very fine, thin hair that tends to have lots of fly-aways after styling with my round brush and blow drier. But the fly-aways are almost completely under control after using the One Step brush. Though it looks and feels large, the combination of the narrow area in the handle, the non-slip material of the handle, and the cool top actually are much easier to use than holding a dryer in one hand and a round brush in the other. It doesn't seem too heavy for me but perhaps if you had a whole lot of hair that took a long time to dry, you might find it heavy. The price is a big PRO. I've researched and read reviews and there is little difference in outcome with more expensive brands, plus some of those brands don't have the cool top handle, which I find very useful. CONS: The temperature controls are a kind of a joke. High is way too hot for most hair. Med is almost as hot as High. Low is really more of a Medium heat (and is what I used). Cool is just as hot as Low but blows more air. They need to re-work these controls AND they need to add a Cold-Shot button. For styling, I'm still getting used to it. The two times I've used it, I was unable to get the amount of curve I wanted at the bottom of my shoulder-length hair. However, I've since watched a bunch of YouTube videos on using this tool, and have some new tricks to try next time. I would like to see the option of two brush types - the oval one it has now and a round and somewhat smaller one for shorter and/or thinner hair. I read reviews that indicate this less-expensive tool doesn't last as long as some of the higher-end brands, so that may be an issue down the line. Overall, I'm pleased I bought it, love the results I've gotten after two uses, and expect to have even better results with a little more practice.

Excellent product, purchased for travel substitute for air-wrap. Love the ability to detach the brush for preliminary drying. The barrel quickly becomes notably more hot than my air-wrap, but for infrequent use I’m sure this wouldn’t be an issue

The Revlon One-Step Volumizing Brush delivers impressive results in smoothing fly-aways and adding volume, making it a valuable tool in my styling routine. The brush effectively tames frizz and creates a smooth, polished finish with ease. I appreciate how it simplifies the process of achieving salon-quality hair at home. However, I’ve encountered a recurring issue with overheating. On multiple occasions, including with my third unit, the brush gets excessively hot, to the point where it triggers the smoke alarm. This has been a frustrating and concerning problem, as it interrupts my styling routine and raises safety concerns. Despite its excellent performance in terms of styling, the overheating issue is a significant drawback. It’s a bit disheartening to experience this with each unit I’ve tried. If Revlon addresses this overheating problem, I’d be thrilled to give the product a higher rating, as the results it delivers are otherwise outstanding. For now, it’s a tool with great potential, but with a critical flaw to be aware of.
