My cats absolutely love them, and they stay interested in them enough that I make sure to replace the old ones with new sticks every Christmas. Great toy for about one day. Figures. The cat nip wore off that quick. Now the toys just lay around. If they weren't so inexpensive I'd complain. But, the cats really enjoyed them ever so briefly.

Strings and feathers are worrisome as cat can and did vomit after feathers came loose and were ingested I suggest using natural fibers non toxic to felines b

Though still pretty new, they seem very sturdy.. should stand up well for active kitten play!

In my professional opinion, no cat toy should have long strings or cords incorporated in the toy that are not attached to rods or sticks under the immediate control of a person. These chew sticks are wrapped in string/cords which if unraveled present a dangerous linear foreign body to pets. It is much like the “gathered flounce” in sewing, where the fabric is gathered along a string or tape to produce “gathers”. In animals, this gathering can result in laceration of the intestinal tissue as the bowel tries to move this foreign body out of the intestines. This is a known veterinary problem, which I have encountered on many occasions during my many years of veterinary experience, and which often required surgical intervention.

My cat really liked it and I've noticed an improvement in his gums because of him chewing on this toy.

My cat played with these for a bit but then showed no interest.

My cat loves to play with these, but she won't chew on them, as I had hoped, to keep her teeth clean. I rub catnip on them to make them a bit more appealing, but she still just bats them around.

My one cat loves them as a treat. Good value for a freeze dried product.
