I am very happy with these whole oat groats. The grains are clean, fresh, and have a pleasant natural oat flavor. They cook up chewy and hearty, making a nutritious breakfast or side dish. I appreciate that they are organic and minimally processed, which helps retain their nutritional value. The package arrived well sealed, and the oats were free of debris or damaged grains. They are a great source of fiber and keep me feeling full for hours. I’ve used them for porridge, grain bowls, and even homemade oat flour with excellent results. If you’re looking for a healthy whole grain option, I highly recommend these oat groats. Great quality and value for the price!

Delicious. This has become my go-to morning meal. It has a wonderful texture, not mush like other processed oatmeal, and great mild nutty taste to it. It takes time to cook (about an hour) but worth it. I cook a batch on my day off, put it in a covered container in fridge, then just heat up a bowl each morning throughout my workweek. I like a little brown sugar and some milk but , obviously, you can add what you want. I love that it’s organic and only processed to remove the outer husk so you get that gut health benefit that’s absent in the over-processed oatmeal’s. The size bag is perfect, I’ve just made my 3rd batch for the upcoming week and still have about 1/2 of this bag left. This means a bag will feed me breakfast for a long time at low cost. Great quality at a great price.

I've tried numerous Yupik products. All are fairly high quality, and the Oat Groats is no exception. They've become one of my favorite grains. I like the chewiness better than the creaminess of oatmeal or oat bran. Great in place of rice. About 1 cup groats. Rinse well in water. Add about 4-5 cups fresh water. 1 tsp of salt. Simmer covered 40 mins. Taste to see if it's the consistency you like. Take off the heat immediately and drain.

Excellent for making oat milk. Also, my parakeets love them especially when I soak them in water. I love them as a special treat, sometimes high quality I definitely recommend

High quality grains, sturdy bag. I appreciate that the bag stands up on its own and there is a zipper to re-seal it. I wish it was a little cheaper but other than that- great product!
