Scosche makes quality parts and this is no exception. Bear in mind many aftermarket radios have required modifications for hooking up your OEM antennas and not all radios are created equal. Radio reception from my unit sucks but not from the adapter.

Some cars like mine require you to cut and jumper an extra wire and the instructions don't explain how to do this. Just check youtube if you don't have sound after installing this cable. Besides the poor instructions and having to search the internet for a solution this cable works good.

Read this before purchasing this item. I am an amateur installer and and this wiring harness was extremely straightforward and very easy to set up. I ran into no issues, and was very surprised that it took less than 30 minutes to fully wire my aftermarket radio. The clamps at the end of each wire made it very easy to securely connect two wires together. I will definitely be buying more wiring harnesses for some of my other vehicles.

Yes, installing a new radio and wiring is challenging however, if you want to take this project upon yourself this harness makes it so much easier. Perfectly color coded and brings even a chart for wire matching to your radio harness. Direct plug and play to your factory harness. I highly recommend building/joining your radio and this harness prior to installing it to the car.

I was able to get everything set up fairly easily in my Honda fit, but after getting everything set up I realized a couple wires that didn't have matches. I had to leave it as is and wrapped everything up safely and put it all back together but when I turned the radio on the whole right side doesn't make a sound. So I am missing the wires to control the sound on the right side but other than that everything else work perfectly fine.
