Makes my laptop look new. The keys pop! I had a opaque/semi-clear version before, and it worked well, but made the keys appear dull. This version has the keys painted, so it makes all the keys look new. Glad they had it for the older Mac's like mine, a 2013. dPrice was great also. Very happy with purchase.

I got this a couple of months ago, and I love this keyboard cover. It has a nice feeling, is very flexible, and when I put it on my Macbook Air, it fit like a glove. It doesn't come off even when I'm moving my laptop around a lot (which I do, I do a lot of work on the sofa or the bed where I end up in weird positions to be comfortable) and it's also very comfortable to write on. I know a lot of people don't like typing with keyboard covers, mostly because it hinders the feeling of the keys, but I don't think so. I can feel each key individually when I hit them, which is really nice. I also type a lot due to work and school, as well as simply writing in my free time, and this cover has held up the entire time. I haven't seen any signs of wear or even fading. It's still the same color as it was when I first got it, no fading. So far that's been around six months.As for the backlight, I don't really use the backlight on my Mac that much, so it didn't make that much of a difference to me. Even with the light on, the shift in lettering was minimal and didn't really bother me. This is a very durable keyboard - I eat with my laptop all the time, and I've actually spilled coffee on my keyboard once, and nothing happened - it actually kind of kept the liquid there until I could clean it off. Would recommend, and I would definitely buy from here again if I needed another color.

This is the second one of these keyboard covers I've bought .I tend to eat when I'm at my computer , & this helps keep crumbs out from between the keys .it is thin & does not impede your typing .They come in fun colors , but I chose black.you can wash it which is great if you spill something !

I bought this to match the laptop shell in the same color, and it work exactly as I hoped it. The colors (peacock green) match perfectly and makes my computer look nice and coordinated.This is a very thin rubber layer that fits almost seamlessly over the mac keyboard, protecting the keys from crumbs, spills, and fingerprints. (I would say it blocks dust as well but it must get a little staticky or something, because whenever I lift it up I can see the dust that sticks to the underside. However it does do the job of keeping the dust off the keys so I won't complain). If you get it really dirty or oily, you could just rinse it off off or wipe it with a damp paper towel which you obviously cannot to to your thousand dollar laptop. I am no longer paranoid of dropping crumbs while eating, or accidentally touching my keyboard with greasy fingers because it is so cheap and easy to clean.It goes on easily (you literally just place it on, no adhesive or anything) and comes off easily too by just lifting it from the edges. Although it is very thin, it does change the texture and feel of your keys which takes a day or two to get used to, and I do think it slows down my typing just a bit as it requires slightly more force to press the buttons. It also softens the clicking sound of your keyboard which is nice.My biggest concern was that it wouldn't fit properly to my keyboard or that it would wrinkle up or stick out. However I was pleasantly surprised. It fits closely enough that if I turn my computer sideways or even upside down, the friction holds it in place, even though it doesn't feel tight or sticky. It does have a bit of wiggle room because the rubber is flexible, so you could push it around and make it stretch around or bubble up a bit if you dragged your hand across it, but for normal typing it doesn't warp or shift. I have had mine for several months and it still fits just as nicely as when I first got it. The edges of the cover go right up to (but not outside) the edge of the little indentation on your computer for your keyboard so it lays nice and flat, and all those edges are transparent so it is practically invisible besides the color on the keys themselves.The one downside is that while the space around/between the keys is clear, the lettering on the keys is not. It is colored white and it is just thin enough that in the dark you can just barely still see the glowing letter underneath. In the dark I usually have to turn the keyboard brightness up so I can see the individual letters and not just the square outlines of the keys. Also, when you do turn the backlight up in the dark you can see that the letters on the cover don't perfectly line up with the letters on some of the keys, which makes it look blurry. If you're someone who has to look at the keys a lot to type, you might want to take the cover off if you had to do a lot of typing in the dark for whatever reason.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Mosiso key pad protector. It works great, keeps out dust, crumbs, spills. However, the silicon only last for about six months. Soon the letters rub off, it rips, buckles and does not stick to the keyboard at all. But since there is really nothing else out there, it's this or nothing.

Let me start by saying I thought it would be a deeper red, but honestly I love it like this more. It’s giving Apple! It’s easy to put on and easy to take off! The quality is good, and I love that it’s not super thick, I can still kinda hear the click of the keyboard . It’s not that transparent I can’t hardly see the light underneath from the keys it also grips the keys nicely! Just all around love it!
