One of the best general-purpose texts I've seen on optics; all the math and a lot of practical applications as well. If you are a not fluent in the science and math, this text is probably beyond you; if you use this stuff in your everyday life and can deal with physics-level math - EXCELLENT!

Same as the regular version. Same chapters and appendices. You never know with the international versions. Only difference is that it is paperback and figures are not coloured. Good book too.

Very useful book. Good print quality. However, the book is printed in black and white, while the hardback version has colour figures.

Really nice book. Especially good if you already know a bit about optics. I think this book is a great supplement to post optics courses such as laser courses, non linear optics or even hardware optics
