You have to have the right spot to use it.
it is good for the right situation. Indoor, high enough ceiling, items the can hang over the dowels.

My Shiela Maid Clothes Airer is the BEST!
I bought my Shiela Maid Clothes Airer quite a few years ago. It is still going strong and is the best way to dry those items you don't want to put in the dryer. I have it installed above my washer and dryer and it is really great. I don't have a lot of space for hanging wet clothes and this is just such an efficient use of space.

These Things Are Great!
I have one of these and love it, although I did not buy it on Amazon. Make sure that where you want to put it has a couple ceiling joists where the pulleys are to go because you definitely want this anchored in wood, not drywall or plaster. It also helps if you can install a cleat somewhere close so that you can tie it off while you load it and when you have it up. If you can put it up over a wood stove, so much the better!
