I own three of their bags, one tripod, and two ball heads. I'm convinced all of their stuff fits the bill of "best value."

The Alta Rise 28 is the perfect bag for me...
The Alta Rise 28 is a smaller bag perfect for a day-trip or excursion where you don't want to carry every piece of equipment you own. I do not want to carry everything I own all the time! If you do, go for the larger Alta Rise bags. But my Nikon D7200 with an 18-140 zoom attached fits lens down in the deep main compartment, as does a 7" speedlite flash, leaving room for at least one or two medium-sized lens. The organizer pieces make for a velcro-lover's heaven and permit lots of creativity in organizing the main compartment. Access to main compartment can be had through zipper on the top, so you don't have to open the main flap compartment to get at your camera. Additional compartments help organize smaller accessories, as well as a 10" tablet.
