Everything is Beautiful: 'the most uplifting book of the year' Good Housekeeping

I enjoyed every minute of this book and had to keep reading to see what was going to happen next. The plot was clever (don't want to give anything away) but what started off as something apparently simple had some unexpected twists in it. The characters were well written and I felt such sympathy for the main character Amy. Good ending with the possibility of hope going forward for most of the characters I cared about.

This book's plot is passable. The writing is plain, nothing special about it. I think it's a shame, because the ideas in this book are original. The characters are believable, and make the book special. It's easy and enjoyable to read. I am questioning the way women are portrayed though, none of them the agent of their destiny.

This was something different to read and I really enjoyed this book it was captivating and had me enthralled, I m hoping to read the next book by this author soon.

I’m also a hoarder and this story resonates so very much with me- however the actual story itself was riveting too!

This was a joy to read. Compassionate in it's overtones this book had me immersed in Amy, the main character, as her life unfolds. We don't hear or see the life of a hoarder but we always feel sorry for them when in fact they are probably some of the most happy people on this planet when surrounded by everything that is so important to them. I saw myself in Amy to a much lesser degree, & totally became engrossed. I didn't expect the twists but they lent a dimension the storyline. I would definitely read another of this author's books.

This is a great book, the first one I’ve read all the way through in Kindle format! Normally I prefer a paperback. The story gently guides you along with a few twists along the way. I’d like Amy to be my friend, and as someone with hoarding tendencies myself I could really empathise with her difficulties.

Beautiful story I was enthralled from the beginning to the end. The title says it all BEAUTIFUL.

The storyline was well thought through, but only really started to emerge in the second half of the book. There was a lot of description of the way in which the main character lived in her house., which in my view wasn't entirely necessary. When new neighbours moved in next door, the romantic element seemed an obvious outcome. A good light read.There is a twist at the end, so worth completing reading .....
