Bought this to replace a Bosch drill and expand Hubby’s growing love affair with Makita tools. Firstly the package arrived with a missing component. After a phone call and emails with Seller Tools House Customer Services, the missing part was in the post and arrived the next day. (Thanks Isabel). The drill is everything Hubby wanted and is superior to the Bosch in ease of use and quality. The batteries charge quicker too. Not impressed with Amazons Customer Services (a) poor English (b) suggested 48 hours to resolve, I did it in 2; (c) overpaid by £53.10 as I found - too late - a lower price. No way to complain as money already taken from my account. Moral : take more time on researching.

J'avais une vieille AEG sur batteries lithium qui ont rendu l'âme car pas assez souvent chargée. Je prendrai soin de celles ci, mais pour l'instant le rapport qualité prix est excellent. L'autonomie des batteries est vraiment surprenante !

Edit: spotted a small switch on the barrel which now prevents any slippage of drill bit. Very good drill, plenty of power, compact, power drill for drilling & this for screwing is so much faster than using single drill. perfect whilst I build a large shed. When I get to the roof it’l be so much easier & safer with not cable dangling down. Batteries I swap out with my makita grass strimmer, hoover & 3rd party 8inch chainsaw. Makita & battery excellent build quality
