Great buy, DONT REMOVE SCREEN PROTECTOR
Great specs and aesthetics. Comes with preapplied screen protector, case, and removable external fan with buttons. This is a gaming phone made by company known for their quality PC components. There are so many features I cannot possibly list in this review that make this phone better than apple or samsung. Be careful and DO NOT buy one Manufactured by Tencent and you will enjoy this product.

Didn't survive a year. Don't bother.
I bought this nearly a year ago and it performed very well for me. But only 11 months after, it just completely crashed. Tried booting it twice afterwards and it crashed again both times, and now it no longer boots up. From what I've read since, sounds like the Phone 5 line has significant issues with their motherboards or something. Heck, Asus seems to have had major issues from its earlier phones too.None of the phones I've had in the past ever failed this hard for me, and considering that it's out of warranty now, I see no point in doing business with Asus in the future. It only gets an extra star for being useful to me while it lasted. Please consider looking into other brands instead.

Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger.
Like a more refined version of the 3. They brought back the 3.5mm audio thank god, and the gorilla glass victus has prevented me from breaking it twice a year.

Scam, tencent version
This is the tencent branded phone, not compatible with most US bands and most carriers won't let you have more than volte. Amazon says you can't return it due to "volatile gasses". I'll be contacting my bank to reverse this payment

Phone Fried itself after 1 month of use
Using the included charging brick and cable ONLY phone completely failed to charge and is now completely dead. I purchased this phone from Hong Kong and was told by ASUS USA I would have to return there in person to have warranty service. So instead I must pay hundreds of dollars to have it fixed by ASUS USA. DO NOT BUY!

Good phone.
I purchased the Hong Kong version from bludiode, and it works very well in the United States on AT&T.My phone hasn't fried, like someone else mentioned. I purchased a grounded adapter, from Amazon, after the two prong one I had made, terrible noises. Szitc, sizzle noise. Unplug...The new adapter from Amazon is working well.
