Medline Toilet Handle Safety Rail works GREAT with the Carex Toilet Seat Riser.
The "Medline Toilet Handle Safety Rail, Grab Bar for Bathroom, 26" to 31" Adjustable Height, 250-lb. Capacity, Aluminum" works very well with the" Carex Health Brands Hinged Elongated Toilet Seat Riser, Adds 3.5 Inches of Height to Toilet, 300 Pound Weight Capacity, Raised Toilet Seat, White (FGB32100 0000). " I had ordered both hoping that the bolts that come with the Carex Toilet Seat Riser would be long enough to fit the Medline Grab Bar, the Riser, and my current several-years-old toilet seat and lid. Fit great! with even bolt length to spare! Easy to install. The hardest part was removing the bolts from my toilet seat itself. My husband cannot put weight on one of his legs while a leg fracture heals. All three are very sturdy and provided needed weight support for my husband to use.

Good functional unit that helped when we needed it!
I ordered one of these safety rails for my wife who just had knee replacement surgery, and it was exactly what we needed. It allows her to get up and down without much effort at all, surprising sturdy if you don't press outward on the arms too much. It's of course a bit wobbly, but with a moment or two of figuring out how to push yourself up it is quite sturdy indeed and is a life-saver. Assembly was super simple, and the bracket attaches very securely to the rear of the toilet seat in the same holes for the lid - - piece of cake. I like the ability to fully adjust the height of the arms and also of their distance apart. This unit is not designed for Olympic routines, and you can buy much more expensive units that are a bit sturdier, but if you will just think and figure out the best way to push yourself up this unit will do just fine. A quality and inexpensive solution to anyone who has trouble getting around or standing up. Highly recommended!!

Seems to be made well, and works, but a little high for comfort
I had to make a bit of a non-standard installation, since we have a metal standing rack behind and to either side of the toilet, so I cannot tighten one side. It is still stable enough to use, but it can be a little wobbly. This shouldn't be the case with a normal installation, as this is made of good materials, and very strong plate/tube that holds the arms to the toilet base. Though I do find the arms to be a bit high for me, and I am a tall man, with long arms, so this may be an issue for long armed, short torso people only, I don't know. But there are similar designs on Amazon that have a sloping hand grip tube, that would probably make it suit more people-so you can vary your grip to what is more comfortable for you. I do like the slight angle adjustment you can make to the sides, that allows the arms to swing out a bit from each other instead of being completely parallel with each other that opens it up slightly, which most others of these do not have, it seems. So, 4 stars for that last feature, since it is important too. I hope someone from the company sees this, and considers changing the grip angles to slanted instead of being just one height, parallel to the floor. There is a height adjustment, but I have it set to the lowest setting too. One more notch or two lower would be helpful as well in suiting more people for use and comfort. Still, I wouldn't want to go back to not using them, so I will keep them-a very attractive price too, considering what some do cost.

Very solid rails, great quality. A+++
About to have hamstring surgery and will be unable to sit for several weeks and will have to hold myself up over the toilet. These rails are rock solid. You remove your toilet sheet and our the rear bracket over the holes and the toilet seat goes back on top of the bracket. This locks the rails in place so they can't slide off your toilet bowl. The risk swing out so you can easily move them to a comfortable position lz even out of the way once you're on the toilet. Front leg hight is adjustable. I weigh 240lbs and these rails are rock solid. Took 5 minutes to install. Highly recommend. Quality product.

truly simple and functional product
OK, here comes knee replacement, so I needed something to address the toilet situation. I'm a sort of larger size guy, 6'2" and 235 lbs, so I need something that is stable, safe and fits my body. tried some of those silly toys that claim to be an actual product: a "sit over" the toilet chair, bucket goes down into the toilet opening; new higher toilet seats that replace existing seats, even a couple that did not even bolt on to the toilet. waste of time and energy. these rails are all you need, period. only thing they need to improve is a rubber non-slip washer to add to your toilet seat bolts to help prevent them from sliding around on the porcelain. Not that is major, but would help IMHO. these fit my body size and most of all, allow me to sit on the regular seat, without all this other junk in between. They are adjustable in width and height, and while they wobble a bit if you lift the arms up off the floor, as soon as you add weight to them they are perfectly stable. No matching your oval seat with the cheap toy products round seats. No trying to use something that is maybe 2/3 the size of what you are used to, and not make a huge mess everywhere. plus your walker will back right up to them to allow you to sit and stand easily. If you are a guy, you can lift your toilet lids and walk right up to the toilet as usual with your walker. I would give them a 10 star rating if I could, they really solved some issues for us in a very inexpensive manner and use the KISS principal in their engineering design. Highly recommended

Some hassle to assemble. Arms are a little wobbly even when locked in place
I bought this product for use during recovery from hip surgery. I installed it before my surgery. It was relatively easy to install. You have to remove your existing toilet seat to do so and mine required tools - the nut holding my seat was more than hand tight. The instructions for installation were not detailed to say the least. But anyone with decent mechanical skills will be able to assemble it by referring to the picture of the installed product, and watching YouTube videos of similar products. There are two hand-tighten-able locking nuts where the product fastens under the toilet seat, that controls how wide apart the arms are. There are two options for the width of those arms. I am a fairly narrow person and the narrow setting on this product was way too narrow for me so I used the wider setting. My suggestion is for most people except for the very petite, to use the wider setting. One feature I liked is that there is a pop-it on each arm, that can be released to swing the arms away from the toilet for those who do not need assistance on the toilet. You must be careful though to re-lock the pop-it on each arm before the person needing assistance uses the toilet. With my product, the pop-it on one of the arms was very easy to unlock and re-lock. The other arm took a little bit of maneuvering to relock the pop-it – it just wasn’t centered or something the same way. This has made things difficult after my surgery because I’m not supposed to twist so I have to ensure that pop-it is locked before I sit on the toilet. Overall I have struggled when using this product. Even when the arms are locked, the padded arm rests have some play, about an inch or so each from side to side. If someone using this product is extremely frail, I think this could be a real problem and potentially dangerous. I am fortunate to have decent leg strength so I just make sure to push straight down on the armrests and not push at an angle, though it has been a concern for me. Also, this does not change the height of the seat. As a result I have to bend at the hip over 90° when using this product, which is a no – no for someone with a recent hip replacement. For me, a product that raises the toilet seat surface by several inches is much better. This product has been helpful during my recovery but is by no means ideal. Just be aware of the watch-outs and make an informed choice whether or not this product is right for you.

Handy after hip replacement
Bought for my mom after she had a hip replacement surgery. Said she could not have done it without them! Toilet risers sometimes feel wobbly and this eliminates that. So sturdy and great for medical use. She has decided to leave them up for added safety.

Safe, Simple and a Life changer looks just like Picture.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Simple Upgrade That Made a Big Difference for My Mom I bought this foldable toilet safety rail for my mother, and it’s been one of the most helpful additions to her daily routine. She’s been dealing with mobility challenges, and this rail has given her the extra support she needs to feel safe and confident in the bathroom. Installation was quick and easy—no tools, no fuss. It fits securely around the toilet and doesn’t wobble or shift. The padded handles are comfortable to grip, and the foldable design is perfect for saving space when not in use. It’s discreet but incredibly effective. Most importantly, my mom feels more independent. She doesn’t need to call for help every time she uses the bathroom, and that sense of dignity means everything. If you’re caring for an aging parent or someone recovering from surgery, I highly recommend this product. It’s a small change that brings peace of mind to both of us.

En general buen producto
De mucha utilidad para personas recien operadas, no es estorboso, y transmite seguridad, el único punto malo es que uno de los brazos no tiene mucho equilibrio y se mueve al momento de levantarse la persona, aun así es muy funcional. recomendado
