Rough Natural Blue Kyanite Stones 1-3" Pieces (1/2 Pound)

After reading the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about ordering these Kyanite shards, but I'm so glad I ordered them anyway. I received a black velvet bag full of beautiful blue shards that are suitable for use in my artisan jewelry designs. Yes, some of them were tiny and thin, but I have a plan for those, too. I'll be back when I need more.

I purchased this in hopes to use it in polymer clay jewelry. It turned out wonderfully. The shards werent really larger than about 2 inches but that's ok, I'll work with what have. Some shards were thick and short, some long and skinny. Most have really nice consistent color. I would purchase again.

If you are looking to get what is in the advertised pic then search elsewhere. I actually ordered this because I saw the reviews that complained about receiving 'a bag of flakes and shards'. That is exactly what I needed for my resin projects. The bag is nice and the kyanite pieces are decent quality IMO for the price. This is why I am giving it 5 stars. But I did not receive one piece that even slightly resembled the intact structure of the pics above... Great for me... But if you want solid pieces you will be disappointed based on my experience. However, I am happy with my purchase.

This was one lb of blue kyanite. The quality of the crystals was excellent, but during travel I felt they should have been separated into 4-6 plastic bags during transport, rather than all left in the velvet pouch as this would have prevented some of the shifting and chipping of these very fine crystals. (this is expected with kyanite anyway). My only complaint is that there were no larger crystals, all were small chips. A good many were as long as my middle finger, but were very thin. I believe 1-2 pieces had a thickness of more than two coins placed together, but these were shorter in length. I expected it would be a mix with a few large specimens and the rest small in a one lb bag. But again, I have only ordered one bag and I'm certain it varies.

I don't know if I am a verified purchaser.. lol. But I just received my order. I am pretty pleased with it. I was super excited actually. You can see in the pictures that there are a couple that can be used in wire wrapping altho that's not my intention. Just as a side note. Kyanite is similar to shale . It can in fact break pretty easy. So. Be aware of that - no matter who you get it from. It's not really a stone that I would plan on wrapping anyway. If it's a raw piece, it will most likely crumble over time unless it's REALLY solid. I've never seen shards this size size worth wrapping. You CAN use these for meditation, but they are small. So there is bound to be issues if you personally have a lot of chaos in your energy. You really should have a much larger piece for that. I've included a picture of a larger piece I use for meditation. I did NOT get that with this order. I've had it for about a decade. That being said, these are plenty useful for other projects. My experience with reviews is that people tend to put their own personal issues on the stuff they received. There is no issue with the product, it is really the buyer. So look at that aspect as well. Certainly people get some crap in these non specific item situations. They certainly should return them. But. According to the pictures shown by the buyer, I would not even think I would wrap them. I do have experience wrapping my own stones. I got maybe 3 in this package that could be wrapped. But my intended use for these, I am very pleased with what I received. Buyer beware - of your own issues. LoL. Hahaha

Wow! What a great pile of Kyanite pieces! I wrap stones and create jewelry from stones and these pieces are just fantastic. Honestly they are better than I had expected. Eyeballing them, I’d say I can use 90% of these. Some are flat, some are shards, some are chunks. Almost all are of a decent size and quality and most of all they have great energy!

Very impressed with my 1lb purchase. Received a nice assortment of slivers, blades & chunks! After reading previous reviews ~ I got exactly what I expected... very satisfied— excellent value for $15 spent! 🤑

I got these for my anxiety brought on by Crohn's disease. I'm not sure if I believe in these, but my anxiety has been pretty light since I got them.
