Bubula Jr Premium Steel Diaper Waste Pail w/Air Tight Lid and Lock, White

I am not a huge fan of this trash can as you can see. Unfortunately mine came missing a piece. The piece locks the garbage bag in place but you can finesse it where you won’t need it. The part was not completely necessary for function but I still reached out to the manufacturer with no response. Either way I kept it. My main issue is the lock on top! If it is not locked completely the whole house smells like used diapers. With that note why does this lock come unlocked so easily. My dogs tail knocked it unlocked once. It’s suck a simple slide that honestly a gush of wind can push it open. Just some heavy steps and BAM it’s unlocked. Also this can is so loud!! I would have thought the rim would be a bit more cushiony to offset the heaviness of the lid but no it isn’t. So midnight changes are accompanied by a loud bang!! It’s so aggressive because my child can sleep through a changing but never that noise so I just wait till morning to throw the diaper out. Also a smell when you open it is to be expected…. It’s just ok! Not amazing not life changing but ok. For the price it’s blah.

We are on our third baby, and our 5th Diaper Genie just broke, so we decided it was time to try something new. I did a lot of research here on Amazon and finally decided to try the Bubula Jr. I like that I can use regular trash bags, but that's about it. I really miss being able to open it using my foot. It's much trickier to keep the baby safe up on the changing table while reaching all the way down to the tiny trash can and having to use my hand to open and close it. Plus, it's grosser. I mean my hand may be dirty from changing the diaper and I have to unlock, open and relock the top. Then, any one of my children may come by and touch the top. Gross! Lastly, and worst of all, it doesn't keep the smell in! I use scented/odor control trash bags and spray with Lysol every time I change the bag, but it still smells. Every time I come in after a nap, I think my daughter pooped because the room smells so bad. I've only had it about 2 months and I really miss my Diaper Genie.

This keeps the smell in great! The only reason I took away one star, is I was expecting it to seal off the inside when you open the top (like the larger, original one does), but it does not. So whenever you open the top, the smells escapes for a second while you put the new diaper in the pail. Overall, a good product.

I was disappointed to have to remove the residue from a very large sticker that came on the front of the product but have been happy with the pail itself. I especially appreciate the steel base, the ability to use my own choice of bags, and the fact that the container does hold smells in well when closed.

We have twins coming so we wanted to use this with cloth diapers after the first few weeks. We were able to fit wet bags into the pail, no issues at all. But, we are afraid it is very small and will not hold that many diapers. Great quality though

This is a good product, holds stinky smells in pretty well, except when you have to open it...overall I am happy with it. I use it for my dog because we bring her to work with us, works good for that.

We used a lidded garbage can as a diaper pail for a long time, but once baby started solids that didn't cut it anymore! Such stinky poop! After a lot of research I bought this, and it's been great! It seals in the stink, holds the bag securely, and when it's full it's full! You can't keep smashing down diaper after diaper after diaper.

Works fine, have not had heavy duty poop diapers as the baby is only weeks old. I’ll have a better idea of its performance in a few more months.
