I thought this is ment for phones as well (I can use it for phone in vertical position of a phone only) but its more for tablet. I really like the clump connecting to stand as its solid and didn't open on its own. I like that the secure hicks on a plate of the device expand so I can place my ipod with its cover. I don't like that the plate easily slips of the part that's its connected to stand. When I try to take tablet/ iphone off this device the 2 parts often disconnect. Need to be careful to not to drop anything. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ehhhh *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2017* Would have given 5stars but only will mount on bottom section of mic stand (the thicker part) useless mounted there, the bushings provided werent thick enough, had to fashion my own bushings, now it mounts fine. Also the size will accept my 10.1" screen only horizontally not verticle as I need it to be, so again I modified it by adfing velcro to the top holders and on the ipad allowing it to sit in the bottom holders. Works fine now.
