I used this to make wax melts. Unfortunately the color didn’t go all way to the bottom of the wax melt, could of been my temp also!

DoubleW Mica Powder (30 Colors)I've been getting into resin work and trying out mica powders in combination. I've received several mica kits and chameleon powders and wanted to experiment with a test. I set up a mold of 25 Norse runes to test 14 brands of powders. For each rune, I dipped a paintbrush into the powder, "painted" the bottom of the mold with the powder, then filled the mold with UV curing resin that had been dyed a bright white for contrast. Then the mold was set to cure, with one turn (flipping the mold upside down) halfway through the curing process.Note that you can use mica with resin by mixing mica into the resin. I went with the "paint the mold" application process instead because I was curious to try it, and I didn't want to dirty 14 mixing cups. I was able to clean the paintbrush easily between applications with a white cloth rag. I will add that, for UV curing, turning the mold over halfway through the cure process was crucial and you can't skip that step. The one rune that was ruined (which you will see in the pictures) was broken because I tried to unmold it before the turn.---The DoubleW mica powder came in a resealable ziploc bag which is important because there's a lot more mica here than you're likely to use in one setting. There's a half-gram in the bag, which isn't as much as some other collections; this is more like a good amount for testing which colors you'd like to buy in larger quantities. Because I was trying to use darkish red pigments for this experiment, I used the "Wine Red" color. The mica applied easily with a paintbrush, and I made 2 runes with this product (Perthro on left, and Sowilo on right).Perthro came out well, though Sowilo did not--and that's a puzzlement to me, because Sowilo was closer to the UV light source. The powder has an almost perfectly uniform color that is bright, vibrant, and has a pleasant touch of sparkle. There are no streaks or clumps in either of the runes, which is impressive to me. Overall, this seems like really high quality mica and I just wish there were more in the packets. The colors in this kit include:Wine RedMauveMagic RedRose RedLight PinkBright PinkScarletPeachblowGold PearlInterference YellowBright YellowSparkle YellowPeak GreenGolden GreenInterference GreenDark GreenLuster BlueCambridge BlueMagic BlueDark BlueViolaceousMagic VioletSilver PearlLuster Silver PearlSilver GraySilver BlackLuster BlackRed BrownCupreous-BrownGlitter Cupreous-BrownVerdict: I'm very happy with this mica powder and would buy this brand in the future, though only if I can find the colors in larger quantities.NOTE: This review is based on a free advance review product provided through Amazon Vine.~ Ana Mardoll

It's mica!
It's mica! Good size pouches to try out the colors. The colors work for eyeshadow so far, haven't tried ALL of them so far though. Colors like the blue and greens will be used for silicone, they work great for that as well. I plan on coloring soap with these and don't see why they wouldn't work. They perform just as micas should so it should be fine.
