Consumer Reports has, in the past, judged Suave products to be as effective as any costly salon products. I have been a decades-long user. This particular conditioner is superb at smoothing, de-tangling, and scenting my hair. Since I have a lot of hair (4 feet long), cost is an issue too. Can't beat the combination here. The matching shampoo is similarly great.
