This is hollow steel tubing, like almost all of the products in this price bracket. It’s rated to a believable 200 pounds by the seller, but this item won’t suffice if you plan to do lat pull downs with 250 pounds of weights or more.The one I received was symmetrical with uniform bends, decent solid rubber grips and a decently welded attachment tab, so it’s fine for light to moderate lifting. If you need a solid bar or a rotating attachment, shop elsewhere but be prepared to pay considerably more.

Received item recently. Haven't had long enough to comment on durability. Item seems to be sturdy. Nice black coating with hard rubber handles. Came with clip to latch to smith machine.

I use this for different pull down workouts in my outside gym and it’s great. I’m worried the handles are going to pop off while I use it but so far they have been sturdy.

Pretty easy to rate since it's just one piece. It came wrapped nicely in bubble wrap! That was fun! Glad it came with a hook. No complaints!
