Best mid level filter pitcher in my opinion
Love the green. Has a nostalgic feel to it. Definitely takes out a lot of the chemical taste in the tap water here in Minneapolis.

Love it!
I've been using this for a while. It helped cut back on having to buy water and the water tastes great. Easy to set up and use while also not taking up much space in crowded fridge. Love it!

ALL-AROUND WINNER
I spent some time deciding between PUR and BRITA. I wanted a smaller pitcher so it wouldn't take up too much room in my refrigerator. I tried to find out which pitcher made the best-tasting water but reviews I read online seemed very close on that point. The deciding factor for me was that the BRITA pour spout was open to air, whereas the PUR pitcher had a cover at the pour spout. I have been very happy with the PUR pitcher. It looks nice and doesn't take up too much space in the fridge. I got the lime color, which I only saw available on Amazon. I did expect the entire pitcher to have a green tint (based on the picture) but it is clear. The water tastes very good. (My first glass tasted weird but not since.). I'm happy that I chose this pitcher.

PURRRFECT!
I like this 7cup slim Pur design for it's easy handling and pouring. It's slim design fits nicely into the refrigerator; it doesn't take up near as much space as my old 6cup Brita. Some say it leaks? No, not at all when pouring or filling. Very easy to clean and replace the filter. Like I said, it's purrfect!

no more bottled water for me!
So as a senior, I need to save every penny I can - and I am trying to stay healthy and drink lots of water. But I got sick of all the bottles - sick of having to take them back. If my dad had known we would be paying for water in a bottle, he would have laughed outloud! So since I already pay my town for my water - this filter system seemed worth a try. And I love it. It is fast, convenient, and the water tastes great. Now mind you I have no idea if it is totally successful in filtering stuff out - but I am putting my faith in it.

I’m so happy with this water filtering pitcher!
I have long been concerned about the purity of bottles of water. Not only where the water originates but whether the water remains safe after sitting in plastic bottles for who knows how long! I also struggled lugging cases of water. This pitcher makes it so simple. You rinse the filter, put it into the pitcher and fill it with water. I always have access to cold, clear, pure water. It tastes like pure water. No lurking strange after taste. Best purchase I’ve ever made!

New design for me.
New design for me. I have been using Pur filters and flasks for many years, and have been very satisfied with the system. My old model was showing its' age so I ordered a new one which arrived today. It accepts the same filters as I have been using which is satisfactory since I buy them in packs of three and I have two on hand. Not so good point.... The reservoir at the top of the flask is probably a third the size on the old one, which would completely fill the flask with filtered water. Since I decant the filtered water into a glass jug which is kept in the fridge, I have to repeatedly refill the flask reservoir on this new one. Minor point perhaps but annoying and creates unnecessary faff.
