My daughter loved the color works great easy to clean easy to set up. She understood it quickly.
Bought this for my nine year-old little girl let’s just say she loved it and it was worth money. Well spent good quality love the tools. It came with easy to set up easy to clean. She loved the color only thing you might need when you buy this is buy a small little seat or a stool Maybe something about the size of a little stepstool you know when they had to step on to brush your teeth, something like that so they can sit down and do it. My daughter does it over there on the tile that way the Clay’s pretty easy to clean up the splatters just mop it. Now, when we first got it, it was kind of loud. I just sprayed a little bit of WD-40 on the spinner, and it went away quickly and ran smoothly. Just need a little bit of oil.Lol what doesn’t WD-40 fix lol

It's good, but...
It's my first wheel and I DO like it. I've used it almost everyday for a month from throwing to trimming and it does a decent job. Easy to use, and a strong frame. But it has a hard time keep it's RPMs when I try to center stiffer clay almost to a crawl. I am left foot dominant and the power and pedal cords are both long enough and accommodating. My biggest complaint is the plastic pedal. It does pop off its mounts and has popped off the pedal completely and with hands covered in slip trying to realign and pop the pedal back on. It happens more often the more often it happens. The tool kit is nice, cheap but honestly I'm still using some of them. Would I buy another for a friend? maybe. Would I buy again for myself? No.

Broke just after a month.
Broke just 3 days after the return window, maybe the 8th time being used. The collet that holds the table to the motor ripped apart. It seems to be made of very cheap, brittle aluminum. I can’t use the wheel and can’t seem to remove the collet from the table to replace it. The pedal feels very cheap; it doesn’t start slowly, you have to start at high speed and then drop to a lower speed. It is VERY touchy at the low end. It’s fairly noisy for a wheel. A constant hum while in use. The motor also didn’t have much torque and would audibly get lower in pitch and volume as well as slow down when applying pressure to even half a pound of clay. Like most cheap wheels, it is very short overall. The splash pan has dividers to hold water and tools, but they get in the way, and the splash pan is too short to catch much. One of the feet brackets, the part of the body that the leveling feet screw into, came very bent, so the whole thing wobbles. The wheel is machined in such a way that it has many small, concentric circles (not just the usual big ones) that make it difficult to effectively clean. The tools are also, very unsurprisingly, frustratingly cheap and easy to break while in use. Overall, the wheel was level and I liked that it had reversible directions, but steer clear of this one. It will fail faster than you think.

This thing works well! Editing after 1 month use
The pedal moves the hand shifter, which bumps into the knob for left or right spin, I might see if I can remove it. This causes an un-smooth increase in speed. Not a big issue, for me yet. The wheel has become etched and lightly pitted when I have a pat of clay down for a while. Most importantly, there is a flaw in the plastic, snap together splash guard, leaving a gap on either side, if water sloshes it runs down, under and around the wheel base and down the sides to the floor. I plugged mine with putty. But it’s silent, smooth, and darn cute. I’m a beginner, if it’s still running when I outgrow it then it’s a steal!! I still love it.

Good value for the price
This is a great unit. Heavy and well made. The body is welded metal, not plastic. The only nit would be the lever to control speed coming in conflict with the forward/reverse switch. Very minor and def not a dealbreaker, but a different knob or a 5 deg bend outward of the lever would be expected. We are using it as a lapidary grinder for glass. Big diff in price btwn this and lap grinders!

Quite a hefty dent and a bit of wobble.
Product works as it is shown. Controllable speed with a foot petal. The bowl is made with good quality plastic that I think will hold for a long time. The build is very sturdy. My only complaint about this machine is that the plate that came with it has a very noticeable dent on top the prevents pottery any larger than 2 inches in diameter to sit flat unless it is shaved off. As well as the dent, the plat is off balance by a few degrees which is not very noticeable from a distance, but up close it, the pottery sits at a slight angle. I'm not sure if this is from the drive shaft running up to the plate or if it is the plate itself. it's fine as a starter pottery spinner, but the defects seem to be from the manufacturer and not from shipping. The boxes were in great condition when they arrive. I would have made it a 5 star if it weren't for the defects in the primary piece of pottery equipment.

Good for the price. My wheel had a slight wobble and the I reached out to the company and they replaced it for me right away. AMAZING customer service goes along way. Fine for beginners or children. Will probably upgrade when I can throw over 2 pounds consistently.

Funciona bien pero el splash tray venía manchado de barro rojo por la parte de abajo. Cómo si alguien la hubiese usado y devuelto. De ahí en fuera funciona bien

As a Potter I don't think this is suitable for throwing pots. But I am very happy with it, I was looking for an electronic turn table to help me in creating pottery. It works great for me.

as a beginner potter, I am learning on this wheel and it works great. smooth, easy to adjust speed, easy to clean, and almost no noise. I'd definitely recommend it.I sit on a little foot stool and the height is perfect for me. It's lightweighted and I can transport it easily outdoors to create under the sunshine.
