Speaker Builders Friend
This is the perfect size and price for the medium duty speaker builds I do. I used this on ported 6x9 boxes and I had a lot of fun installing it. It is comfortable to the touch and made the formerly itchy job, very pleasant! I use spray adhesive anyway, so I save a lot of money using this quality product. It looks cool, and makes your speaker sound excellent.

It works great
Good stuff! Love the damping ability it has. Great for speaker cabinet builds.

Affordable option for insulation
Definitely not an inch thick. Other than that it'll serve the purpose for a little noise insulation. Easy to cut and work with with. Good value.

Easy to use
Used this to re-insulate the dishwasher after a chipmunk thought the insulation would make a good nest. Was easy to use and install.

Good Fire-Rated Insulation
Used this as insulation for my in-wall speakers. Works great and helps deaden sound on the other side of the wall.

Good stuff. NOT 1” thick. 1/2” at best.
Picked this up over others hoping it was indeed 1” thick to insulate behind a toilet pipe between it and the sill plate. It is more like half inch. Good material but shouldn’t be advertised as an inch.

Works Well for Duct Soundproofing
I used these to line the duct coming in to my room, to reduce sound coming in from housemates.Used two layers of this, plus a couple of rolled-up towels for support / gap-filling (towels have similar sound absorption). Works great - made a huge difference. Kept airflow the same (or better) by replacing the vent with a new one with a built-in fan.Two caveats:1.) It says it's 1 inch thick, but it's really about 1/2 inch thick.2.) It has a smell that doesn't go away for over a week. It's not a bad smell, and they claim it doesn't emit any harmful VOCs, but it was weird while it lasted.

Amazing denim filling for acoustic panels for voice overs
One roll is enough to double up on the material for a 16 x 20 acoustic panel. It's much bigger and denser with fabric over the panel however. Aside from fabric you can make a beautiful acoustic panel for the cost of one roll. It's amazing to me and so I purchased as many rolls as I could.
