I wasn't really sure what to expect as I was sceptical about so many torches claiming to throw out 200k lumens. Still not convinced but wow it is bright! I was impressed with the protective case, battery was nearly fully charged, spare set of batteries and keyring torch was a nice touch. The torch is as described, the different functions work well and the extendable focus serves as a searchlight to light up the sky. Really impressed, I shone the searchlight at some tall trees a few houses away and they were lit up clearly. Excellent torch. Size isn't huge and not heavy but is robust. I would recommend. I paid £22 on amazon.

I bought this as a replacement for one I lost I was apprehensive about this product but upon receipt of the product I was very surprised to find it in a hard case which is robust and I believe would stand up to some impact wouldn't recommend this though, when I opened it up inside I found a beautifully made torchwhich had some very good weight to it,it wasn't too heavy just enough for you to know you are holding it,it felt very well made to the touch everything is well machined and very smooth action there was 2 types of battery in side as well as the very big battery that you see in the picture there is also 3 AAA batteries in the box as well which has their own holder and also a sleeve to make it the same size as the big one and I fits perfectly into the battery compartment the cap screws on seamlessly no snaggs or binding as you do find with some cheaper torches there is on the main body an bung if you want to call it which houses a charger port which prevents the ingress of dust and water with a charger cable for the the big battery I do not think it would charge the AAA batteries but can only try, the button to turn on the torch is very firm and well positioned it has 5 modes the brightest was the surprise it lights up a long way 3-400 yards easily each press of the button dimms the light down the third press is the lowest beam of light then you have a flashing light on the 4th press which is very bright and when pressed for the 5th time you have the SOS ... ---... This in an emergency would alert anyone to the fact you are in danger or need help whether you in pitch black night or the brightest of days this product would be a great addition to an emergency kit or even day to day life also in addition to the features already mentioned you have a slider style action on the light which can be used to make the light either wide or narrow which can be used to light up an entire area or make a precise point to aim at, my only warning is that when in operation DO NOT AIM direct at the eyes as this light is very powerful even on the lowest beam all in all this is a perfect addition to any household whether it be just in case or for that emergency also it comes with its own holder so you can carry it around with you on a belt clip.

It comes with a pouch for the torch which you can attach to a belt, a case for the torch and torch charger, instructions for use, a charger, a rechargeable battery and three AAA batteries. The torch only works with the rechargeable battery and doesn't work with the AAA batteries as advertised. The torch has a few different features high, medium, low, strobe and sos. The torch is relatively easy to use which is good it's a bit heavy but easy to carry. The grips provide comfort when holding and stops it sliding out your hand. The torch it also water proof. I've had literally dozens of torches over the years and have to say this one lives up to the hype from other people's reviews. Oh boy is this thing bright!!!It's so powerful that It almost set fire to itself.How I ask you say? Well this torch is clearly the most powerful torch I've ever owned and I'm hugely impressed by it's performance, however be warned this thing has a potentially dangerous issue if not handled carefully.The head of the torch has a clear warning advising that it gets hot. Which is a nice touch but the real area of concern is the switch that operates the torch and it's multiple useful modes.The switch is way to easy to accidentally turn on!!!It's mounted on the side of the main body rather than on the base which i found out the hard way isn't great if you wear your torch on a belt.I sat in my car with my torch on my belt towards one side and went about my business until I noticed a smell of burning coming from somewhere. Thinking it was from outside the car somewhere I wasn't unduly concerned until the smell turned into smoke inside my car. I pulled over and almost immediately realised it was coming from me, specifically my new torch and could see it had turned itself on without me realising, in doing so it literally burnt a hole in the the flap on the top of the torch pouch. It was literally smoking with the intensity of the light being emitted.I normally store my belt and all its attachments in a drawer at work at the end of my shift and this got me really worried incase it got knocked whilst in the drawer and turned itself on again, so much so I've decided to remove the battery at the end of very shift before storing my belt away to reduce the risk of further inadvertent activation.This torch is still superb though, all of needs is a slight design change with the switch to avoid any unwanted activations.
