Best "Bang for your Buck" trail cam on the market
UPDATE AFTER USING IT FOR A WHILE AT THE BOTTOM I was looking for a budget friendly trail camera for deer. Did my research on YouTube and this camera was one of the cameras that was reviewed with good marks so I tried it. WOW! Was I impressed! I was expecting performance and quality like some of the other budget friendly cameras I have (Tasco and Wildgame Innovations) but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The still image quality was good but I mainly run my cameras on video and WOW. I originally had it set to 1080 video and it was awesome! I tried it at 720p video and that was great. The other cool feature is how much sound it picks up. I have it on a Vine scrape and I can hear the deer sniffing the vine. You can hear the crunching of leaves as well as they walk. Originally this wasn't a big deal for me but it has an external jack to plug in in external battery. Since purchasing this camera, I have added external batteries to all my cameras which makes it easy when changing cards and not also having to change batteries. This is an option that the Tasco and low end Wildgame Innovations cameras don't have. All in all I am SUPER happy with the camera. If you are hesitant because of the low price point don't be because you will be pleasantly surprised. UPDATE Since the original review I have purchase 5 in total and still impressed. I had one camera didn't power on for some reason. Tried all the troubleshooting steps in the manual but no luck. Contacted technical support and they sent me a new camera. SUPER IMPRESSED. Looking at purchasing more.

Blown away by the video quality for the price
I have some land near Yosemite and I wanted to see if there were any animals on the property when we weren't around. I bought three trail cams looking for something decent with little investment. I got a Tasco from Walmart, a Stealth brand and this WOSODA. The Tasco took decent pics, but triggered on every little branch blowing in the breeze and the Stealth was good, maybe as good as this one, but it was twice the price. I paid $36 for this unit and it is WAY better than I expected. I just bought another one since I've now got the videos off the SD card. I originally only put in a 32GB SD card not knowing what to expect. This time I bought a 256GB for the new camera because the videos were so good. If I fill this one then I'll go for 512GB and then 1TB (which this camera can go up to). I set it up in April of 2024 and just now took it down to check the videos. So it was out for a whole year in the 120 degree summer days and 10 degree winter nights, rain, snow etc. and a bear even pawed it a couple times. Still works like a charm and still looks brand new. It takes 8 AA batteries, so used Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries because I didn't know how much it would possibly burn through batteries since I was taking all videos. Well after a year of videos and the temperature changes it still has FULL battery indicator. It took great videos in pitch black, just at dawn when infrared light was still getting triggered, in the day bright sun and when shaded in the day. It got just a little grainy in the shadows just at dusk, but even then was plenty good enough. I was recording 20 seconds videos. I edited a few together for your enjoyment, I tried to get a good mix of lighting conditions AND these are AFTER I had to cut down the video quality so the files were small enough to upload to Amazon.

Good pics. Good price. Great find.
Bought one of these on a whim on sale to try it out. This cam has been out for over 2 months and been through some nasty storms we have had in the area. Works great. Pictures are clear (even pics of squirrels jumping around) day and night. I have mine set to medium sensitivity for motion detection and to take 2 30mp pics in succession in case 1 is blurry. Very easy to set up. Put a lock on it and no one can get to the card inside or pull the batteries. I use Duracell procell batteries and they are holding up excellent. Get a basic SD card and format it and your ready to get down to business!

Edited review: great customer service and a good camera!
Customer service made things right. I was sent a new camera and the new one worked perfect. I really like the video quality from these cameras for this price point. The camera has another feature that I really like. When you have the camera on setup mode, it allows you to see where the camera is aimed. The screen is on the body of the camera and not the door. I also like that the battery compartment comes out. It’s very nice to load. Conclusion: I would get this camera again! Original review is below. **Old review: I have 2 of these cameras and put them out in the woods at the same time. One of them worked great and the other did not. Formated each SD card after putting it in the camera. The same SD card brand was used for both cameras. I put them in the woods 3 hours away and then went back to check on them just before gun deer season. Very disappointed that only one of the cameras worked. Blurry photos, "snow" on the top of the video then nothing. After having them out in the woods for over a month due to the drive I'm out of the return window and I'm stuck with a bad non-working camera. **

Fantastic deal for $40
UPDATED: Bought this camera because it was on sale, didn't expect much. I was surprised to see that it takes better pictures than the Stealth Cam brand cameras that are 2x to 3x the price. I have 2 of those which seem to have a narrow view and do not work as well as these. These cameras also have a digital display that makes setup super easy. I like them so much I ordered 2 more. Great product. UPDATE: after several months of using them I have discovered a few things. 1) the battery meters on the screen do not work. This is not a big deal but if you don't know you will think the camera is malfunctioning. All 4 of mine will show 2/3 battery life with fresh or after running for weeks. If you notice the amount of pics your getting in a night decrease. Change your batteries. I go from 500-1200 pics a night (5 sec shot lag) to less than a 100 I know the batteries are weak. Weak batteries seem to lower the motion sensor sensitivity. My Amazon rechargeable batteries (black ones) last around 5k pics on 24mp, 5 sec shot lag. I do not use video mode so cannot speak on that. 2) if you have a camera that didn't record any pics since reinserting the memory card. Format the card in the settings. Maybe 1/20 or 30 times. When you dump the card something doesn't go right and the card doesn't wipe clean which will jam the camera from recording on it. Format the card and all will work again. Also when you reinsert the card put the screen on AIM mode so you can see the screen and ensure that the card mounts sometimes you will put the card in and it will say "memory card error" it is just not seated right and you need to click it out and back in. These things do not happen all the time and would not stop me from buying it. Just little nuisance that I thought might help someone who would otherwise think there was an actual issue. Still love these cameras. Have gotten some incredible pics.

Not for hardcore game cam useres.
Bought two of these. Both use batteries up quickly. One rarely takes photos at night and not at all apparently as soon as the batteries get weak. Testing in my large back yard, both took photos at about 60 somewhat consistently. One would occasionally get a picture at 80 feet. Ranges fall off at night. Photos it does take a very good. Bought these for wildlife monitoring. Have used numerous brands of game cams over the last 20+ years. If you're serious about getting good, consistent photos and like me leave cameras in the woods for weeks at a time, I can't recommend them.

Works great & exceptional customer service.
I take care of a colony of rescue cats at a large horse ranch and I have several of these cameras spread around so I can see their movements. They are easy to operate with very good image quality. The price of the cameras are great and I love using a standard SD card because the micro ones are easy to drop and lose. One of mine stopped working recently but customer service was quick to repond and sent me a new replacement. By having these cameras, I was able to notice a new cat that I believe was dumped here this past March. I was then able to see where he finally decided to hang out. I named him Spooky because he was so elusive in the beginning but has pretty much become part of the family now. I am a very pleased customer.

Great camera
Can’t beat it for the price. I’ve been using it for the better part of a year now and it’s a great camera. The pictures aren’t the greatest but the video is pretty good and that’s all I use is video mode. Would recommend

Worked great but one of 2 died just 2 months out of warranty.
This product has a one year warranty. They made it to 1 year and 2 months lol. I purchased 2 because of the great price. Today I went to remove the SD card as I do every week, and noticed water inside the control door on one camera. It only seemed a drop which I figured might be condensation? It was dead, so I proceeded to eject the battery tray, it had much more water inside to the point the lower battery contacts had rusted. I checked the second camera to find the same water droplets but the batteries were still at half life, it just stopped taking pictures! The water inside was not expected. I did clean the contacts and replace the batteries in the worst of the 2 but to no avail. That camera is done for. These cameras are located away from direct exposure to rain in my backyard. The seals are still very clean and look functional; They have never been abused, dropped, and still look like new. How the water got in can be only speculation. I was able to get one of the 2 working, so.... now I am curious how long this one camera will still function.
