Fantastic water filter. Works quickly and with little effort. Battery lasts 2/3 days for two people drinking as much water as they want while doing strenuous activity at high elevation and very warm weather. I could see the battery lasting 4/5 days for a single person on backpacking trip. I’d be interested in seeing a third party analysis of the quality of the filter. It seems to advertise that it filters material that’s even smaller than other leading manual backpacking filters (.01 vs .02) that cost six times the price of this filter! Using this filter is undoubtedly much safer than drinking untreated water. & if the advertising can be trusted, filter particles x2 smaller than leading competitors. I have brought this with me on multiple backcountry excursions and it has never failed me. I purchased this filter almost three years ago now and it’s still going strong. I am purchasing a replacement filter for the original unit to ensure the filter continues to operate correctly. It’s relatively lightweight. It works very quickly. Fits in my backpack nicely or if I don’t have space, I can clip it to the outside of my pack. This allows the filter to dry and provides easy access to the filter.

The first one I received wasn't working properly but before I could even send it back, BLKES reached out to me and offered to send a replacement, which arrived in two days! The replacement pump has been working PERFECTLY! I captured 22 gallons of rainwater when a thunderstorm passed by and since it came off the roof, it was cloudy and full of dirt accumulated over the past year. I ran all of it through this pump and it was as clear as tap water! I've been using it to water the plants in my greenhouse and they love it! If I go out into the desert, this will always go with me so I can filter any water source in an emergency. I know of some springs on some trails I walk and I've always wanted to try the water, but I wouldn't do so without first filtering it and this little guy gives me a mobile pump to do so! Awesome! Highly recommended!

Works like a miracle. Easy setup, just drop a line in there and one button. Tad expensive but the battery lasts a really long time and moves a lot of liquid so it's worth it. Filters a glass in 15 seconds or so.

SO i tested this against my RO table top unit ( Bluevua RO100ROPOT) . I will post results below . Other than EC. ( google EC and other results I have listed ) it filters pretty good , keep in mine my test water was already pretty clean ( my well, city water ) I did not want to trash filter on dirty water to test. see results be low . But I will say it pumps pretty fast and easy to use . I had this tea for about four years and I've gotten my monies worth out of it. I do a lot of camping and hiking (and other outdoor activities), so having a water filter seemed like a good idea. Back flushing and replacing filters is a big deal, I've gone though three sets of filters so far. When I first received it, I used it on some tap water and the difference in taste alone was obvious (I have hard water/city water, so that is part of the reason). I've never tested the water pre or post filtering, so I can't test to how clean/unclean the filtered water actually is. But I do know it takes a lot and sediment out of the water. It is very easy to use, it doesn't leak. It's pretty small and fits in or on a pack. The battery has lasted well, I would buy it again.

Update #2: 9/11/25 I truly hate to write this review, because customer service was great but the second filter had the same exact failure as the first unit. For some reason the filter works great on the first usage. But after cleaning and storing it for a couple months it leaks internally on the very next use. Then it starts running on its own and won’t shut off. I was instructed on the first unit to remove the cover label, pour out the water and attempt to dry it with a hair dryer. A lot of water was inside the unit. Since I don’t know exactly how the water is getting into the pump I don’t know if the water coming out is truly filtered or not. I’m sorry, two units with the same failure just isn’t right. I’m going to have to return to my previous method of water filtration, it’s slower, but I feel I can trust it more. Update; customer service reached out to help correct the problem for which I am grateful. I hope the replacement lasts longer than the original. I really want this to work! Disappointed! Went to use the filter for only the second time yesterday and it leaked from the bottom plus now it won’t shut off! Water must have leaked past some internal seal. Products need to last longer than 6 months after purchase and more than once! Thankfully we were not on a long hike this time!

I finally had a chance to use this filter and I was stoked. I could not get the oring to seat properly and it leaked. You need to prime it before use so you can’t avoid opening the filter every time. I’m past my 30 days so I’m screwed however in my opinion DO NOT buy. Wasted a $100.
