A lot code is a combination of letters and numbers, which tells us when the product was produced. All Welch’s Fruit Snacks have a shelf life of one year from the production date. The lot code looks similar to this example: PN20A04122. The first 2 numbers listed indicate the year (20 = 2020). The following letter corresponds to the month (January = A, February = B, March = C etc. Note that the month of September is an X). The next numbers indicate the day of month it was produced. The above example shows that the product was produced on January 4, 2020. In this example the best buy date is January 4, 2021.

Good product but delivery close to expiration

Welch's has been good but the expiry date is just one month from delivery date. The product may not get spoilt but is definitely not taking a chance. A fresher packet is needed.
