Is the lid just as hard to clean as the last one?

The lid on the 2021 models does not have the guard over the heat coil. Therefore, it is easier to reach the actual lid. There are photos that show the inside of the lid on the web site.

Does this have wifi so i can controll it from my phone while im at work

No it operates just like the earlier models with added cooking type features as well as simplifies the whole meal cooking with added top grill rack.

Does this come with a recipe book?

It does come with a cook book and the recipes are good, but it's basically just to help familiarize you with the functions and learn how them. Once you learn how to use the functions of this cooker, you can easily cook many of your current recipes in it. Try to think of this cooker as a pressure cooker, steamer, stove top, convection oven, and air fryer oven all rolled into one appliance. Once you learn how to use all the function, there really isn't anything you can't cook in it.

How does this model compare to the ninja op302 foodi 9-in-1?

I went onto Youtube and watched all these cross-comparisons to get specifics. There are a lot of excellent videos talking about the differences. The main advantage that I found is that this is one lid, and you don't have to change out covers like the former one. I just like that there is one lid to deal with, and the steam and fry feature is darn cool. So you don't lose moisture. It is also easier to clean than the former Ninja, or that was the case for me. I know everyone is different.   I feel like this cooks my food better and faster even though the former Ninja can do the same thing, but I love my new Ninja. The cooking options are similar, but I am biased since I love this new Ninja more, but I hope that is somewhat helpful. Again it all depends on what you are looking for, and I love the air frying feature both have, and I know the newer model has more bells and whistles and options.  It all depends on whether you feel you will use it.  I think you can't go wrong with either one, but for me, at least I appreciated the newer model because of the way I cook and what I make.  I hope this is helpful and have fun with the features.  If you're doing a roast in the newer model, you can temp control and monitor the temp in the meat with the probe, and that is distinctively a different feature that the older one does not have.
