I can finally toss food
I just love this little wok. I have 6 woks with different handles and metals but this is now my favorite. Our standard range is not made for wok cooking. Other than the unsuitable burner temp, the height is too high to angle our arm and toss food around in a heavy 14 inch wok. I have an outdoor burner that I set low for that purpose. However, this wok is the perfect weight for me to toss food around even with my left hand while using my right to stir on my indoor range. Carbon steel hands down makes the best non-stick surface. I make all sorts of egg dishes in my other pans of the same material. Eggs are the stickiest food. I can’t wait until this pan has a well developed patina. It already has a nice 1st coat that I can make scrambled eggs on no problem. The size is perfect for a single serve lunch for 1, really for 2 but I eat a little too much protein with my rice. :) The handle is nice and sturdy. For the price it makes it a great deal.

Thoroughly disappointed horrible quality rivets
Thoroughly disappointed. This is not my first wok. I was excited because it seemed very high quality and the perfect size. Unfortunately they used either aluminum or some other subpar metal as the rivets because after I got this beautiful seasoning layer on the pan I found that the once secure bowl of the wok now rattles around like a tin can. It was so sturdy before the seasoning, which is the same method I do for all my woks without issue. Very disappointed that I wasted all this time on getting the perfect seasoning just for the rivets to loosen up on me and render the pan useless.

Steel is the best wok fry pans! Perfect size
After I did a 4 coat seasoning, it works great. I love this size, great for a quick small batch stir fry, cup of saute mushrooms, a quick egg omlete in the morning. Easy to keep clean & seasoned non-stick. I gave one to each of my grandkids for their college kitchens, I showed them how to keep seasoning it after every use. They said tit was a perfect size and great for so many thing. Now they understand that steel is way better than plastic coated cook wear.

Excellent small wok
Good small size. Pricing on Amazon varies significantly. I paid over $27, now its around $17. The good: Good small size, decent quality for price. The bad: 1) Not seasoned at all. Took me a long time to get it rightly seasoned. First few times, there appears to be a powder coming off as I heated and seasoned it. This powder prevented oil from hardening as it flaked off. However, after multiple seasoning rounds, it is now very well seasoned. Be patient in seasoning this wok. 2) By itself, it does not stand as its not well weight balanced with angle of handle and wok weight. It does tip over. Be careful if there is hot oil, it could tip over. With more food in wok, its weighted well with no issues.

Perfect Carbon Steel 8 inch wok!
I already have a 14 inch wok I purchased 16 years ago from Chinatown and love it. I wanted a smaller wok for car camping and smaller dishes at home. Just follow the 'first use' directions and it's good to go. I also fried some onions in oil over high med [gas stove] to season more then fried an egg with no problem. After use I rinsed the wok with warm water or you can cool the wok add water, heat the wok on stove to clean. Dried it and then lightly wipe with oil. It does not come with a lid but I have an 8 inch lid from an 8 qt all clad sauce pan that fits perfect. I also have a 7-7/8 inch stainless steel bowl that I may drill a hole and attach an extra pan knob onto to it so that I have a dome lid. Then I can also make small batch of popcorn whenever I go car camping [bucket list]. I also make big batches of popcorn with my 14 inch wok : ) There are also silicone lids that will probably work if do not have lid or bowl to make one and will be more portable if camping or fit in kitchen if limited storage. Not sure where wok is made but Harold Import in NJ is on the packing material. Wok does not come in a box. It arrived in clear plastic bag with cardboard 'packaging' as advertised and it was in an AMAZON plastic bag. Noticed superficial dent but after you season it you don't notice and it does not effect cooking at all. Cute sturdy wok I'm very happy with it.

It is NOT non stick
No matter how I have tried to use this wok stuff still sticks to it! I get carbon steel has a bit of a learning curb, but if heated properly this should not be an issue!! Still while I love the size and other features, the fact that stuff stick is a big disappointment for me :/

For me, the most important is the size
It is just the perfect little wok, love it.

Disappointed
I'm very disappointed by this. First of all, the instructions for how to season it assume I have a gas stove. (My building doesn't have gas.) It says to "Tilt wok over the burner to heat the sides," which doesn't work with a ceramic stove top. Then, the process of trying to season it left the bottom warped. (No, I didn't dip the hot wok in cold water.) On my ceramic stove, it will only get hot where it's in contact with the stove surface, so I need the bottom of my pan to be completely flat.

Love this wok
Got this today, seasoned as advised. Fantastic wok, I seasoned this over a ceramic stove top and it took some time but it was worth it. Made some crispy tofu and a fried egg. Didn’t stick to wok at all. Love it

mi primer wok
Excelente producto, lo he usado únicamente para hacer huevo frito con arroz, la patina ya tiene buen grosor. Excelente artículo si sólo cocinas para 1-2 personas.

Great size for individual cooking. Poor Riveting job. Loose handle
It's a really good size for a single person to cook with. It's thin carbon steel so don't expect anything crazy. Minus stars for the poor riveting job. Mine's really loose.

Well packed. Robust handle. Well-shaped and perfect thickness.
Nice wok for small batch cooking. Once seasoned, holds up well.
