Design Engineering 040206 Heater Hotter Performance Radiator Additive to Accelerate Heat Transfer, 16 oz.

As with most E70 BMW X5 2007 to 2010, it takes forever to heat up our SUVs, sometimes 35 to 40 minutes just to heat up. After having everything checked to figure out why it takes forever to heat up mine, doing research, changing the thermostat, doing a flush, and two mechanics weren't able to figure out why, I decided to give this a try. And I have to say that this worked. I used an entire bottle of this and less than 10 minutes I was getting heat from the car. So I can say that this worked for me without issue.

Great idea but really couldnt tell a difference at all

it took about a week but then it really started to work...now it's nice and warm when I get in the truck instead of warming up 3 or 4 miles down the road....

I added this to the coolant of my 2007 Saturn Ion Redline Edition. I wanted the engine to warm up faster. I don't think the engine in my car actually circulates coolant until it reaches operating temperature anyway.Regardless, my normal operating temperature is maybe slightly higher than it used to be, but it's hard to tell. I do have a digital readout of engine coolant temperature using a bluetooth OBDII adapter and the Torque app. I added this at the end of the summer, and it seems like maybe my coolant temp is 5-10 degrees warmer than it would be otherwise.I will try out DEI's cooling products and review those. I'm especially interested in the intercooler stuff because my car is intercooled and supercharged.

Bought 2 of these. 1 for a kia sedona and the other for dodge ram cummins diesel. The results were ok in the sedona but the dodge ram started getting heat in about 5 minutes instead of 20 ninutes in mid 20* temps. Definitely worth buying no matter what car you have.

put it in my motherinlaws car, didn't help the heat get any better

It helped the heater in my truck work better and cut down the warm up time, great in emergency services!

It did not work for me...in 2 different vehicles.
