I received my table cover three days ago. The good news is it is lovely and an excellent addition to my Mahjong gear. The back is rubberized so it doesn't slip around on the table top when you are mixing the tiles. The playing surface is similar to a very tightly woven area rug that allows the tiles to glide easily but is soft enough to prevent scratches and cut down on noise.I gave the product 4 stars because of the way the description is written. It says to roll the mat for storage in the included storage bag -- there was no storage bag included in my order. The description also says not to fold the mat. Mine was shipped folded into a very tight 8x8 square and then vacuum packed. This resulted in stress wear at the fold corners. Hopefully these will "buff out" during game play.Overall I would recommend this table cover for anyone currently playing on a hard surface or if you want a little additional cushion on your card table top. We have also used this to play Rummikub, Yatzee and Cribbage. It makes an excellent playing surface no matter which game you play

This is a more interesting mat for the game. Nice to have this so the tiles are protected.

This cloth is nicely made and won't shred on the top with the pushers. Yes, it was folded, but creases came out fine. Used a steamer. I would recommend it.

Love it. Silence the noise and looks super

After two months of placing books on the pad and rolling it backwards, this mat will not lay flat. The construction is not that bad, but impossible to flatten out and is useless for playing on. Dont buy!

I'm impressed with the quality. It's thick to the touch. It does need a lot of TLC out of the pack as it will be creased. I used an iron on the silk setting first and then turned it up to the synthetic setting using the steam option ironing the topside only, and it helped get the creases to a manageable level. The mat is thick and durable with a slide resistant dotting underneath. I'm excited to use it for card playing, dice and dominos as well as mahjong. I took a picture of my mini mahjong set set up for solitaire. Very happy with my purchase!
