Not bad at all
I do woodcarving, and needed a thumb protector to keep from accidentally stabbing myself while carving. These do the job nicely. They come in such a large quantity that I've shared them with several other carvers, who all like them. The leather is thin-to-medium weight. Soft enough not to rub your skin raw. OK quality. Not great, not bad. They do wear out after a few months, but it's a big bag so it'll last a while. Stitching is good, but the leather is a little thin.I'm happy with them. They do the job and don't irritate my sensitive skin, like other, stiffer guards have.

The fingers are really big and do not stay on very well
I think the fingers are made well but very big and do not stay on very well.

Saved by fingers....made need,ed felting a pain free hobby
These have saved my fingers! When I first tried them, I thought they weren't working well, but I was brand new at needle felting , and I think that was the problem. I tried them again, and now I wouldn't work without them. They are much more comfortable than the plastic ones that come in kits. I'm hoping that eventually I'll be good enough not to need them, but right now, they've made the hobby pain free....my fingers were bloody the first few times, and I walked around with bandaids covering three of them.

Essential protection for beginners
These simple finger protectors are great for using when teaching needle felting. No need to worry about people poking their fingers and getting blood on their creations.

Let the shiney ones air out
I got a mixed bag of shiney leather and matte leather. The shiney leather smelled like grass. The more I lefted them to air out the better they smelled.

Does What Is Needed
I'm an educator for a museum. We let children needle felt for a month, using these to protect their fingers. In almost all cases, the leather stops the needle. If you are unfortunate enough to hit along the seam with the needle, the needle can slide between the layers of leather. But this is highly unlikely and only happened to us once. Great price, performs as needed.I only wish that they came in larger sizes, some bigger adults had problems with these.

Perfect for felting
These are soft and supple and work great for felting. We tried silicone guards, but they made our fingers sweat too much. We tried a few leather ones and these were the best. No odor.
