High Pigment Color, Ultra Hydrating Pressed Mineral Blush - Mixed Berry

I am not into makeup except for mascara, liner and lipstick. But I also used to use blush and decided to do a mini makeover and go back to using blush regularly. I do not do the powder or foundation only the blush. I just use organic shea butter to protect my skin. Then I apply the blush. I went to a department store and the girl was doing make up that day. So she volunteered to put some blush that I was looking at on my face, so I was shown the professional way to do it. But the colors they had were not right for me. This DIVINE SKIN & COSMETICS BLUSH is such a great color well represented here in the picture. It looks great on and is easy to apply. I use a brush which is advertised to be for blush application but I also have some brushes from old blushes I could have used as well. I blot it lightly afterward with a makeup sponge or tissue. Also when applying the blush I tap the brush lightly to shake off excess first before applying. It isn't sloppy either I never see any specks of it in the sink which I appreciate because I don't want to track it on floors or carpets.One thing though, it doesn't last all day the way the "expensive $30 one did at the make up counter. But for the price I don't mind at all and there is enough left on to still brighten my face and make me look "put together".

My overall rating is based on pricing, versus product.If I could I would give it another half star... shipping -fast, not much of a color difference from 1 to the next but nice colors. For almost 14.00, I was surprised they were kinda small. Very pigmented but difficult to spread and blend. It is different than other similar products and I will later re evaluate and edit my review as needed. I have 4 of about 10 I ordered, and maybe with farther use, I may feel differently. To be fair, products description is fairly accurate . I just think it is a bit pricey.

Not the same color as pictured! It is much duller, I can't even say whether it's darker or lighter honestly it's just not as vibrant as their deceiving picture. It didn't look purple at all to me, which was the reason I wanted it to begin with. The picture I took doesn't even do it justice, the blush looks less purple in person. I guess it photographs well at least -_- I also struggled with Divine Skin & Cosmetics to return the unused (still in the packaging, not even opened) product. They eventually worked with me and I returned the product for a refund but it was such a hassle I wouldn't buy from them again.

It's a bit darker than expected, but still very pretty. Goes on very easily, you don't need much.My only complaint is that the clear plastic on the top was broken upon arrival. If it had been better packaged I don't think it would have been a problem.
