These were recommended by our surgeon. My daughter is an avid volleyball player and is super prone to ankle rolls and sprains. She loves how easy they are to put on and the comfort in her shoes. She moves well with them compared to others. You do need to replace these every season for effectiveness.

I purchased these for my son who was out due to bad ankle twist. He was out for almost 4 weeks with this injury and missed 3 games. He's been released to play & his trainer said these are the best ankle supports on the market. I purchased them after researching & because of the other reviews. He's released to play and played last night, his ankle was supported and his confidence is coming back. I wish I had him wearing these before his injury. We have switched cleats that have more ankle support & we've added this ankle brace, it's easy, it attaches to the outside of the cleat. He's also wearing this brands ankle brace that goes on under he everyday shoe.

I should've read the reviews that addressed actual support. There is no possible way this product will prevent you from rolling an ankle. This item is made of spandex and soft rubber. Yes it fits snug, but if that's what you want, get a compression sock. I had fractured my foot last year and was given a good ankle brace by my surgeon. I was hoping to find something a bit more "athletic" looking, but this is NOT it. Be careful and read the reviews that actually mention support.Here's the product I have from my surgeon - and have since purchased another one for my other ankle:ProCare Stabilized Ankle Support Brace. Overall very good ankle support. Light but strong, a bit difficult to put on, I learned this the hard way, so if you get too large of size, it will end up hurting your shins and back of your foot. Once I got the size right it was much much better. Good Luck.

This is the cheapest brace I've ever seen, with minimal support. You'd get the same results from a compression sock. Good profile to squeeze into shoes, but that's about it. Returning. It was 80$, but it feels like it should be about 30$, max.
