Saved hundreds by not having to buy a new workout watch
When my Garmin Vivoactive 3 battery wouldn't last through my bike ride, I knew I needed a new watch. Then I asked myself, but why can't the battery be changed? I searched YouTube and there it was, how to change the battery. It took some time to heat the watch face so I could pry it off so be patient. I couldn't really use the tools they provided but I had my own electronics screw driver set. When pulling out the battery be careful not to pull the wires but not the connector. I had to find another video that showed the you don't really push in the new battery connector, but rather lay it where it should go and gently push down until you hear or feel it snap into place. After replacing this battery I went from one day of not wearing the watch and battery being down to 10% to 5 days. I could only use it in GPS workout modes for 2 hours before it would go from100% to the screen going off with the working of low battery. With this battery I had a workout that lasted 3 hour in total and I used 20% of the battery. So for me the value is amazing as a new watch cost $250 or more and so far the performance is what I would expect from a Chinese replacement battery.

I works and fits fine.
I'm not sure what's wrong with this battery but it doesn't want to register as charged 100%. It will go to 83% to maybe 90% and stop charging or got to 100% and then minutes later register as 84%. It does hold a charge long enough to have at least one round of golf no problem, so I'm happy enough with it.

The battery died very quickly
The battery worked fine, even great, for about a month and then stopped holding the charge and eventually stopped charging at all.

Bad quality control
Works, but don't expect it to be the same as a new garmin battery. Also the quality control is defective as the first battery I received did not work properly and I had to get a new one. This would get 70% of the charge, but certainly works better than the old, depleted battery in my smart watch.

Direct replacement
Exact replacement, so far no issues!
User
I would try removing your old battery first then order
They described how to change it but to actually separate the watch assembly at least with a watch that's been through the wringer we couldn't get it apart and I actually repair industrial equipment for a living and no local jewelry store would touch changing it

Like new battery life.
The battery has been working great for the last two months.I feel like they should stop sending tools with batteries though. Basically useless.

As intended
Hello everyone,I just installed the battery in my Garmin. It's already charging to 80% at the moment. Let’s see how it performs over the week. I’ll keep you guys posted on its durability and any observations I might have. Thanks!
