Mit der angemessenen Bedienung, man muß auf den großen breiten Knopf mit der Handfläche draufschlagen, funktioniert dieser "Zerhacker" einwandfrei., und wenn das Messer mal blockiert und nicht nach oben zurückgeht zieht man zum lösen am Knopf.

UPDATE. I am returning this particular unit. When I first received it, I tested it before I took it apart. When I took it apart to wash before I used it, we couldn't get it back together. The blades wouldn't match the blade protector. I looked for the little cleaning brush to double check for anything I may have done accidentally and NO BRUSH. This was a returned item. Don't appreciate that at all. I still can't reassemble the unit 😫 In fairness to the company, I don't know if someone messed up or this is cost cutting measurements. I'm taking it down to 2 stars. I'll be returning it in the next few days. finally had to replace my Pampered Chef chopper after many years of use. I selected this because the stainless top looked sharp. The inside working pieces were identical to what I had and were familiar with. Still easy to clean and the blades were sharp. The chopper handle had a great response to using it. The only thing that gave me concern initially was the box. It had been opened previously with lots of dents. The plastic bag covering the unit had been torn in half. I closely checked the unit and it didn't appear to have been used so I'm keeping it. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
