Nice And Dark
Good coffee. I like the roast. Nice and dark but not bitter. The K-Cups from Peet's kept clogging up my machine with grounds, but it's better when I run hot water through between brews. I switched to K-Cups from Starbucks and the problem pretty much stopped, if this matters to anyone.

A taste of home
Having frequented Peet’s Coffee stores for many years before moving to the east coast, I have a nostalgia for this French Roast. Very delicious and really hits the spot. Can’t seem to find it where I currently live, so it’s nice to see it on Amazon for a fair price.

Coffee, a little light
Just opened the latest subscription box and the wife eyeballed it and said it didn't look like a full shipment in there, she counted them and sure enough, only 53 pods. Still love the coffee, just not the accuracy...

Dark, Bold Coffee That Actually Tastes Like Coffee
I like my coffee with some flavor behind it, and Peet's French Roast definitely isn't shy. This is a dark, bold roast with that deeper roasted flavor I expect when I choose French roast. The convenience of the K-Cup pods is hard to beat in the morning. I can drop one in, brew a cup, and get moving without measuring coffee or cleaning up a traditional coffee maker. More importantly, I still get a cup that doesn't taste weak or watered down. The 54-count box is a good size for me because coffee is something I'm going to drink anyway. I'd rather have a decent supply in the cabinet than realize I've used my last pod when I'm barely awake. If you prefer light or mild coffee, this probably isn't where I'd start. But if you enjoy a darker roast with a stronger roasted character, Peet's does a good job with this one. Before coffee, I'm technically awake. After a cup of Peet's French Roast, I'm actually available for conversation. There's a difference.
