This is a nice cover
I bought this for my 17' Galaxy I/O and it is a really nice fit. The material feels nice and solid and it appears to be well made. I've had it for about a month now and have no complaints. I'd buy another one if I ever get another boat. Some folks have complained about the pole but I don't even use mine. I jury rigged something using PVC piping instead that works much better. I've thrown a folded up tarp over the windshield (but under the cover) to protect the cover from its sharp edges but that's it. The cover fits so snugly that I haven't had to worry about pooling water, even after monsoons. And it hardly ever snows here.Update: March, 2013I still have no regrets since buying this cover. Hurricane Sandy blew past us without hitting us directly and I just left the cover on through the storm. No water in the boat and no damage to either the boat or the cover. Winds here on the island gusted up to maybe 50mph but since you can drive down the interstate with the cover on the boat, I figured no worries. I was right. No rain or mildew in the boat. We've had a couple of nor'easters blow through here since Sandy with even worst winds locally and the boat sat out in the driveway high and dry underneath its cover. When this cover wears out I am going to replace it with another just like it. That was a very good buy for me back in 2010.

Perfect for my boat!
Cover that "Fits boats 16 ft - 18.5 ft long x 98 in wide". I have a 2000 16ft Tracker with a full windshield and a Minnkota on the bow and this cover fits perfect. It has a really nice double enforced nose section with extra wrap around clips to hold it on the front when towing wind wants to get under it but it can't. Great clips too. I had the same cover that was five years old and it held up great. No clips ever broke either. I couldn't believe they still sold the exact same one five years later at the same price. Thank you! Only think it could fit a 18 ft boat if there was no windshield at all or minnkota. 17ft with maybe a single windsheild and no minnkota.

Tarp Great....support pole NOT
This boat cover is fantastic! BUT the support pole is cheap, thin plastic and broke easily. The support pole didnt work well with my Celebrity 181BR as I couldnt get the cover high enough to not have pockets on the side for water to collect and eventually strain the thin plastic support, bending and breaking it to which a section of the pole punctured the tarp with the pointed tip they have. SO I came up with a better solution that can easily be stored and is cheap by using 3/4" PVC from the window all the way back. I put a 90 on the front to hook the window and 45 at rear so there are no sharp edges to cut into the tarp once sinched tight. I measued and cut sections for tees to make verticle supports with a tee at the bottom installed bullhead & turned 90 degrees for a smooth transition & support. I made cross bracing where the sagging was happening (right at the front of my back to back seats) using crosses and 45 degree angles right next to the crosses to direct the PVC at angles downward & towards the outside where I did another 45 degree once I reached the inside edge of the boat to make another support down to the floor ending with a bullhead tee just like the verticle supports on the main piece. This would serve as tarp support where the water used to build up and keeping the PVC support centered in the boat. This works really good and can easily be taken apart and stored when not in use.

Can be used for morring cover
We use the cover on an 18-1/2' bowrider as a mooring cover. Using it as a mooring cover can be tricky but once you figure out how to secure it to your boat it works well. The support stand that comes with it is a bit flimsy so I bought new support poles, but for a universal cover and for the price, I recommend it.Recommendation: When using it as a mooring cover, I have secured the side straps to the rear buckles through the transom hooks and then pulled them tight to secure the rear of the cover. On the front, I used the center strap through the bow eye and then criss-crossed the two side straps below the bow eye and around to the opposite side to secure the front. That seems to secure the cover and I don't have to secure the center straps to anything, I just tuck them back into the boat. I also use a tube and a support pole in the rear to keep the cover up and water off the cover and a support pole in the front to keep the water from pooling. I didn't have one up there at first and the cover filled with water in the bow. It never leaked through though.

Good fit & Good Straps
Very pleased with this cover. Arrived in specified time and was just as advertised. I am in process of returning a cover made by Budge due to the design of the tie down straps, which are connected to the underside of the cover near the elastic at the bottom. When the straps are pulled tight, the bottom of the cover curls upward, causing the cover to catch rain water much like gutters( with no downspout) A very bad design by Budge Covers!!In contrast,The Subject cover straps are connected to the outside bottom and work perfect. This cover was half the price of the Budge cover that I am returning to Budge, who is charging me a 20% restocking fee for a cover never installed. They were not interested in their faulty design being the reason for return. Classic Accessories is my hero.!! Good design, good cover. Working straps!

Get what you pay for
I’ve had the cover for about a month now. The cover has already faded to a purple grey ish color from one month of Minnesota sun. The first time it rained it actually knocked over the support and the cover filled with water. The support also doesn’t stay up at all while traveling down the road. The cover did do fine traveling down the road. But, the cover really should have a snap or something to hold the support pole in place. Also, the vents in the back of the cover have a thin piece of plastic that really doesn’t hold them open like the description says.Other then that, the cover fits my 17’ aluminum fishing boat pretty well. I placed foam over the windshield edges cause their is no added material where the boat windshield is and would likely wear in no time. The cover was big enough to cover my motor also. All in all, it fits about like a $130 cover would be expected to fit, their is a reason custom ones are over $1,000.

mucho mejor de lo esperado!
altamente recomendable, es una cubierta mas gruesa de lo que pense por el precio y se ajusta perfecto a mi lancha que en este caso es una tracker de 17'

Good purchase buy some support poles to use
So I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing this item. Some things are correct, the pole supplied is garbage - flimsy and hard to keep in place. Buy some other ones because you will need them to put peaks in the cover to prevent pooling. I’ve had the cover in some good rain storms the water beads off of it but does pool if you don’t peak the cover. One storm had bad pooling by the front because the one strap seemed to stretch as it got wet. Overall a quality cover but it is not a custom cover so it will have loose spots. It basically has three straps across the body of the boat. One on each side at the back and three at the bow. I’ve ordered three poles separately to use to peak it but have only received the one so far. Delivery was very quick. Also the cover will trap some moisture under it if your boat is at all wet so don’t assume the cover is letting it through it’s really holding the moisture in so if you put your boat away wet open it up to dry. Overall a good cover for the price.

Tela de buena calidad
Es la segunda que compro, muy buena calidad y durabilidad, un poco frágiles los broches de plástico para el amarre pero la tela muy duradera en intemperie
