How many bars of soap are being sold for $5.99? It is unclear. 96 ounces?

I've ordered this twice now. This is a pack of 6 bars that are 4.98 oz each. They're regular bar soap sized bars. The "98 oz" part must be a typo.

Is this the original Camay, not the International, and how old is it?

The original Camay was introduced by Proctor and Gamble back in 1926. In 2015 P&G was bought by Unilever and Camay was discontinued. Now it seems to be made by some company in Mexico, by Unilever in Indonesia and another in China.

Does this rinse off squeaky clean, or does it leave a slippery feeling like Dove and most shower gels?

In order to understand the answer, you have to know how hard or soft your water is. The water in my area is neutral, not hard not soft, just good water. I find that soaps don't leave residue if you use them in the shower. I do have a type of skin allergy condition that requires neutralizing pH after I wash dishes with Dawn or strong soaps so I rinse my hands with vinegar. That's something I don't have to do with this soap in the shower. It rinses off cleanly, no residue therefore no irritation for my skin. Yeah I'd recommend it I love the smell and I love the feel of being really clean without losing all of my skin's natural barrier. I don't like fatty soap and it's residue that builds up on my skin and sink or shower. This soap doesn't do that. So I love using it.

Since some personal care products may contain gluten ingredients not labeled as gluten, is this soap gluten free?

The packaging doesn't say but it doesn't matter...this is a terrible soap product. Don't buy it.
