They're like gossamer. Not only do they look beautiful, they feel beautiful. To show you how light they are, each only weighs 6.5 grams (under 1/4 oz). That's less than the weight of 3 pennies.I save them for special times when only breathtaking stockings with the right garter belt will do. Even so, they've gotten enough day-long wear that I can say they're also durable.

I love the overall look and feel of the material. It does snag easily so watch your jewelry and fingernails !

I was looking for fully fashioned stockings, which are extremely rare on Amazon. To be sure, these do NOT have reinforced heels/toes. Little did I know that I was ordering stockings made for cross dressing, but I wouldn’t mind if they even looked like they would fit. I am 5’9” @ 145 lbs and these just held up out of the package came up to my nipples! I realize that fully fashioned stockings ARE long/longer, but there is NO WAY these would been even CLOSE to the size the chart recommends to fit me. They ARE very soft and silky feeling to the touch, but they likely snag/pull VERY easily, and looked like they arrived with this sort of defect. LOTS of shine to them, but I DO NOT think these are real Silk. Im disappointed. These are okay for the price, I guess, but size DOWN. If you know better, you will understand that handling these carefully and WITHOUT jewelry is essential. Unless you are TALL, I would look elsewhere. A MEDIUM might fit if you are 5’9 or taller
