Q: Are these breakable if dropped on the floor?

I’ve dropped mine on a wood floor and didn’t break.

Q: Can I use these to add artwork onto and sell?

I would not recommend adding any substance to the face of the stones as that would interfere with the pores that absorb the liquids as well as the surface the container is supposed to sit on. Natural variation in the stone's patterns would possibly be obscured, so I cannot recommend purposeful adulturation for that reason also.
