## Description

Latter-Day Living - Christus Statue Christians around the world are familiar with the Christus statue. The original Christus statue by sculptor Albert Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770–1844) was made of plaster in 1823 and was used to create the 11-foot marble version that stands today in the Church of Our Lady in Copenhagen, Denmark. This marvelous work of inspired art has now been recreated in exact detail, patterned after the original. CELEBRATE CHRIST This statue depicts Christ after the Resurrection, indicated by the nail prints in His hands and feet. Celebrate the belief that Jesus Christ was and still is the Son of God and the Redeemer by placing this marble statue with other christian figurines in your home. PEACEFUL REMINDER OF HOPE & MERCY Although used primarily by the LDS Church, this mini statue of Jesus makes an excellent church figurine for all Christian denominations, from Catholic to Baptist. Place this pristine marble representation of Jesus on your altar next to your Virgin Mary statue or alongside your favorite saint so you can always be reminded of what's most important. Whether you like to have it around as a reminder or prefer to use it to accompany you while praying, this statue provides a peaceful reminder that Christ brings hope and mercy. Place it next to your Bible with your favorite scripture of Christ open next to it. You can place Catholic icons, votives, and more alongside it around the holidays. BRING SERENITY & COMFORT TO YOUR HOME This awe-inspiring cultured marble statue Christus depicts Jesus Christ just as the scriptures describe Him—beckoning to us with open arms. Bring serenity and comfort to your home with this beautiful depiction of the risen Christ.
