Susan McCormick Owner and Jelly Artisan is the brains behind Rose City Pepperheads. She started the company in 1997 and has been introducing Portlanders to spicy ever since. She works directly with local farmers to insure the best produce, berries and ingredients are sourced locally. Making jelly in the kitchen and selling at farmers markets is her passion and it shows. She is the recipient of multiple Scovie Awards for her Pepper Jellies. The Scovie awards are the most competitive fiery food awards and are a coveted award for all spicy sauce makers. Her Pepper Jellies range from Mild to Wild and even Wicked. Often used as a glaze on chicken, pork or fish, it is a go to treat over cream cheese with crackers. Glazed grilled asparagus, squash, corn or mix with a Pico de Gallo and dip tortilla chips. Mix with olive oil for your own homemade salad dressing. Sure to please all range of pallets.
