Bought as a replacement Works great straight away no having to match it to the TV just put batteries in and off you go

Bought this to replace my original tv remote as the "ok" button became very intermittent. Swapped the batteries and it worked. Apart from not having the LG logo, it's pretty much identical.

Looks like the original, but not really. Netflix, Amazon prime button never worked, then the on off button, now the only thing that works is the volume up and down only, not happy at all. For something that normally lasts longer than the TV that it operates, this remote didn't even work 100% from the start. Really disappointed.

Great, we can see all the icons on the new remote control again now. And even though the old remote has been sat on and cracked down the middle, it still works so keeping it means we now have "his and hers" remotes, so no more throwing the one remote across the room for turns using it!

This review is an odd one because I am delighted to have managed to buy this because it works perfectly with our television so it was easy to setup, its design works with the TV so there are minimal delays and lag in its role as a remote control, and at just a little over £5 including delivery it’s at a price which represents good value for money. The only problem is that it replaces the one which came with the TV 5 years ago and it ended up being held together with sticky tape as it is not the most robust. I don’t know if the 3 stars on balance is maybe a little harsh as the two remote controls taken together are probably cheaper than a generic remote control, just wish LG spent a few pennies more on it and it would all be fine.
