Can let's resin chameleon powder be used with acrylic paint?

Mica powder does not work that well with acrylic paint. When mixing into the paint, it is so fine that you typically don’t see much of the powder through the paint. Works best when mixed with resin and then use that mixture on top of the paint.

Will it work in clear resin to look like the colors in the jars? I don't like the look on black - too gaudy.

Yes, you can mix them directly into clear resin or even "paint" the mold with them and then back it with clear or white resin to keep it light. Play around a bit. This is our favorite thing to experiment with. I just mixed some of the teal in with a resin dye in a small cup (it was lumpy) and painted my mold, backed with black it looked like malachite.

Could I mix two colors together to get a multi color shift?

Yes if you are putting the powder on the mold I tried it came out really great.
